Talked to the more "seasoned" demo ladies today about missing my check.. found out TMT has direct deposit.. HUH!?? Never received anything about direct deposit, sent a brightly colored post it in my store report forms to send form for sign up. Much prefer Direct Deposit, I do all my banking online.. hate cashing checks!

Just a heads up for those with TMT that never heard of that option.. DH never recvd info either (he never recvd a hat/apron/table kit but what else is new?).

If all are being assimilated by SPi, then you would no longer have that option as SPI does not offer direct deposit.

My breakfast burritos went so-so. There were only 9 boxes in the freezer case, so I asked an employee if there were more. He left and after awhile came walking back with another employee, saying "I found someone who can help you". So I tell this guy what I need. I'm standing there waiting, and waiting, finally decide to set up while I'm waiting. After I finish setting up, I see the guy on the other side of the store, walking away! He never came back to me!
I found another employee with what I call a pricing gun, the handheld thing they can use to scan the bar code. She scanned the product and told me 9 was all the store had. It took one minute to do that, after I had waited 20 minutes for the other two guys!
So I was late making my purchase of 5 boxes, which didn't last more than 2 1/2 hours. So then I had to stand for the last 2 hours with no product left in the store, telling people how great this product was, but the store doesn't have any! I even called and asked if I could go, but they wouldn't let me!

OMG, this thread was 1/2 way down on page 2 of the Budget board. We're slipping.

I received my paycheck. Postmarked Thurs 11/2. Paid for 3 events up until 10/21. Now just waiting on pay for 4 more events.

And still no reply to my email to payroll re: ADP.

Hey guys, just checking in. Itsbeen a while partly cuz ive been busy and also cuz ive kinda lost interest in the whole demo thing, either way my only upcomng event is this saturday and i may unbook. Is anybody else doing the all snuggle up event? There are no instructions up and I was wondering. Also i havent had anything come up for my area for a hwile, the closest i got was a couple of event for 11/18 but we are at NASCAR that weekend so no can do. Is everyone else experincing a drought or is it just us in florida?

I had a cooking event Sunday, Bertolli Shrimp and pasta... Went pretty good, the electric outlet kept going off so I couldn't keep the food hot... Everyone loved it except for one man, made a face and said that is really gross....
Met a few other people working Demos.... One took an hour break, and a 15 minute break.. She told me I should take longer breaks when I told her I only take (1) 15 min break. I work again on Wed.. Kimberly Clark...

Talked to somone in payroll today about missing check. (Was not in Saturday mail when expected and not in today's mail either)
He said they had an error and forgot the extra $6 for toasters and such on a group of checks, that batch was sent seperately from the regular pick up.. of course my check was in that group. All mailed out Friday from Bloomington, I live in the metro area.. mail takes one day.
Need to wait it out and see what happens, they wait 10 days to stop a check.

They had stopped sending direct deposit sign up forms in the paychecks when they started the three week pay schedule, sending the info on pay schedule instead. He sent direct deposit forms in all paychecks this time.
I just happened to start when the switch began.. so missed the direct deposit stuff.

Did anyone besides me do an event today???

I did the Barber Foods Chicken on off-date. When I went in and "tried" to purchase the chicken, my MC card was declined. I tried calling in to find out what happened, big surprise, I got voice mail. I was afraid to buy $70 worth of chicken out of my own pocket and not get re-imbursed, so I did not execute the event. When I got home, I finally got to speak to someone. She tried to get my card activated and was not successful either. She re-booked me for the same event on Wednesday. I have no idea if my card will work then or not. I had the same problem on Thursday when swiping out, but that was just 75 cents and I paid out of pocket. I am just wondering if anyone else had issues with their card today. I even waited untill this morning to activate my card (as Splsh suggested) in case they re-booted the system last night. Oh well, here's hoping I can run the event on Wednesday.

You probably need a new card, Im surprised they didnt tell you that they were gonna send one out. I got a new card after my first event. I swiped in just fine butupon swipe out, forget it, it was not going to work, oh well, they sent me a new one, havent had problems yet.

And it's hard to find on the second page... I keep looking, hoping, dreaming that December will fill up with ST events.. so far .. nada.. zip.. zilch

My last event is on 11/25 then nothing until the Ulta mineral Sheers stuff on 12/9.

I noticed a bunch of the Godiva ones are up for grabs (1-5, regular and ST )... they called and asked if DH could pick one up, I'm working and no more events listed at my location.. he hates driving to two stores so turned them down.

I don't understand why they wait until last minute to put a ton of stores up
No one wants to work the 4 hour ones and can't book if they already picked longer events on the same day.

I have a question for all of you that have ST's. If you use their skillets and micro's do you still get paid the extra $$'s? Mine targets have finally converted to super-size catagory.

I came to my senses (a little bit) I unbooked the event that I had scheduled the day of my high school reunion.. I just can't see me doing Thanksgiving, Black Friday, a Wine event, hair/mani/pedi/spray tan AND my reunion in 3 short days... I'll miss the $ that weekend but I certainly can't show up to my 20th reunion looking like a frazzled mess!!!

Nothing in the Central Pa area. I'm with TMT if that makes a difference. I'm waiting for a couple of events to pop up on off date so I can grab them. I am depressed about it too, but I hope it is just temporary over the holidays. Demo'ing seems to be adicting

It's definately the holidays slowing things down.. But really do you want to deal with all that retail mess?! I don't...I do have 8 wine events but they won't be as bad as working a WM!!! Also, many of them are during week (afternoons/evenings) so at least my weekends will be free - I think I need a forced slow down... I could easily see working myself to death....
