Our store aren't state run, I live in michigan... and like the proplan event... They don't exist to us :( bummer no new events listed for the last 3 weeks!

What days are the wine events for? maybe I can look specifically at those dates.

I know what you mean by no new events. I have 1 event on 11/2, then nothing at all booked. It's depressing. Do you think it is just a slow period or something else going on? Has anyone called their coordinator about it? They would probably just ignore our call or not give us a straight answer, so why bother :confused3 Can you tell I'm a little down on MC this morning, lol :rolleyes:

I don't know what days the wine events are on. Hopefully someone else will respond.

Mine is on November 19th at 3:00pm. I always wait to clean up after all the kids are in bed and around 11:00pm at night, I so happen to just check and their was like a whole page of events. All of the wine events were on one specific date so I could not book multiples.


Dragonfly are your events "wet" or "dry" events? Mine are dry guess they don't want any liability! BTW pass some on down here now that I am certified :lmao: (What a joke)

to everyone else, I know how you feel, Mass has been so unpredictable lately that I book with another company and then a week later they may drop some events, so then I have to go back to them and tell them I have to cancel. I am trying not to burn bridges but it is so hard with Mass not releasing bookings in advance like they use to. Like I said just out of the blue they released a lot and they are also running another 4 hr event the day of Tassimo some glad ziploc bag from 1-5 that was on 11/19 aswell.
 

^^ If it was on the 19th... I have the Tassimo event booked that day. How many hours is it if it starts at 3pm?
 
My wine events so far are:
11/17 4-8pm
11/18 12-4pm
11/25 12-4pm
12/1 3-7pm
12/9 3-7pm
12/16 12-4pm
12/22 12-4pm
12/23 12-4pm

Mine are Wet so I wonder if I'll have to card people first... I'd prefer NOT to have that responsiblity because if I serve to someone underage I'm personally liable... Can't wait for these instructions to come up though so I can better prepare... like practicing with a wine opener so the cork doesn't break off & get stuck in the neck!!!
 
My Bad my event is on the 17th of November. Cant sell any wine on sunday here in Blue country. My event is from 3-7pm.

Christine you have to share, you just have to I want more :banana: :banana:

Besides, it's not like we are going to be selling alot... the brochures say something like Save up to $13.00*! (*details inside)... you have to go online to get the coupons!!! I really wish they would have just put the coupons in the brochure! Duh... why spend the $ now with what could be an impulse purchase, when you can go home & print out the coupon & say to yourself, "do I really need this?"

Just went to my Walmart... They have 2 bathroom floor cleaners and 2 Carpet touch ups and no tub and tile scrubber...

And the biggest thing... the 4 way display (does anyone even know how big or what it looks like) was nowhere to be found. Dammit, I unbooked an easy event to do this one because it had longer hours... Now I can't even do the event!

My assumption was that it was large...this may be a bad idea but I am soooo tempted to run this event even without it as long as there is product in the store :smokin: ... I'm foregoing helping my Mom out that day for this event & if it's a bust I'll be PO'd....

Well hell... they never gave us a picture as to what we were looking for. Perhaps seeing the product on the shelf was accidently assumed to be the display. I think you are right also because We need to clock in and to clock in we need to purchase the things. I don't want to wait there for an hour looking for the display and then make a swipe in. What happens if at the 1 hour mark they find the display? now do you have to work an extra 1 hour to make up for the non-hour of working? 'cause you would be clocking in 1 hour late. I still have yet to get my kit so that is a whole other issue there.

I might run it also... I got my table and the kit (when it comes) and the items off the shelf. what is the display really going to do?

I don't have a hat and I have a ST this Sunday... Do I need to get a hat from somewhere?? or do you think the ST will have one there??? I just got my MC card yesterday... nothing about a hat.
 
I am a nervous wreck about this one because this event is 45 minutes from my house. If my kit comes I think I am just going to regardless of display or not. That is just too far for 28 dollars when I could have stayed local for 50.

Are you really serious about still running the event you two? 'Cause I am really thinking about it and I would do it if I knew other people were too. Stupid running with the crowd and would you jump off a bridge if they did ordeal i know but still.

Call me a rebel but yes, I think it's silly... any other event you'd have to run it product or not *continue to promote* so I can't see how a cardboard product display would prevent the event from executing.... :confused3 Sometimes I wonder about the people that write these instructions!!
 
Then that settles it with or without the cardboard display I will purchase the product and run the event.

I checked the store report form... nothing mentioned about the 4-way display on the questions...
 
Just got back from shopping trip to my WalMart that is still resetting the store. OMG, the store is worse than any prior weeks. :sad2: Seriously, its AWEFUL!!! Before, they were just moving 1 or 2 depts at a time, but now, its like EVERYTHING is being moved at once. :sad2: No or low product on shelves because they aren't restocking much until they move it.

I was in there a very long time looking for things I needed, & I'm pretty sure I covered every aisle. I saw no display. I could only find the Scotch Brite Carpet roller & refills. And refills for Bathroom Floor cleaner, but no starter kit. And nothing about the Tub & Tile scrubber at all.

In past weeks, people kind of laughed it off if they couldn't find anything, but today, I think people are just REAL tired of this. They just want to find their stuff & get out of there. It was also really warm, & I honestly feel like I'm coming down with something.

I'm going to unbook this store, just because its a really bad time to be doing an event there. It looked like they were starting to move the cleaning supplies just while I was there. Who knows what Sunday will look like. :sad2:

I'll wait till tomorrow to see if I'm really getting sick or not; then I'll decide it I'll just move to a different store for Sunday. I still have same event for Tuesday as well.

No kit(s) either. Don't really care about no display, but no product at all kind of sucks since we have to buy it to promote it.
 
Yesterday, I received my paycheck for 10/4 & 10/5 Hefty wastebag events.

I bought an anti-fatigue mat at Staples for $16.99. Grey squishy foam - lightweight & rolls up. It think its something like 27" x 36". I might cut it down to the length of the table - not sure yet.

I am dead serious I will run this event. The UPS man just dropped off the kit so I am running mine. I figure this way like Dragonfly said, if they tell us come hell or high water to run other events, this should be no difference. I can always plead ignorance like I did not know we were suppose to have a display.

I would go check but this Walmart is 45 minutes away without any traffic.
