Walkway between Polynesian and TTC

When was this constructed? On our first stay in 1987 the path already existed. Was it built when Rapa Nui and Tahiti were added?

Good question. I've wondered myself. I think your guess is a good one. I don't remember it existing during our first Polynesian stays starting in 1983 and have an aerial view postcard from before those two buildings were added. No walkway to be seen.

Yes, it has been there for many years now. I'm glad Sotoalf could nail it down as early as 1987. It is really a great convenience for anyone staying at the Polynesian.

Thanks! It's gonna take me a while to get thru all the advice and trip reports but it's all good reading!

It has probably been there all along although I can't say for sure. Definitely in the early 80's. I remember in the ealry 80's when we stayed at FW and pool hopping was allowed and the Poly had the best pool on site and the only pool with a slide we would take the bus to the TTC and then walk over to the Poly.
