Yes, CVS test was free as well. We were done our appointment (for 4 people in the car) in perhaps 10 minutes? Yes, we turned off our rental car while we were doing the tests at the drive thru window.

Have you done them before? The pharmacist just watches from her window - we do the swabbing and dropping the swabs into the test tube ourselves then seal everything off and return them back to the pharmacist through the little tray opening at the bottom of the window.
Also important to register online so you can refresh and check for test results as soon as they are available. The email and text notification were very delayed - they came a day later!

I thought we are supposed to take a picture of our PCR result and upload it to the app but I've read others say there's no where to upload it, so to just print it off and show the customs officer? If that's the case we will have to try and print them off at our hotel coming home I guess. Or do people just show it on their phone? Do you have to hand your phone to the officer? Sorry for so many stupid questions. I'm a worse case perfectionist lol

you don’t upload your test to ArriveCan. Westjet checked the results when I checked my bags in for the flight and put a sticker on my passport.

Doesn't look like it is available right now. The testing shortage is probably affecting which locations are offering tests.

What if we can't get an appointment at a Walgreens with a drive thru? Will they do it inside for a fee and if so how much is that fee?
Note: We are driving along I-75 and will be passing many a Walgreens but they don't all have drive-thrus.

We just had our test results on my phone and i handed my phone to the border officer to see it. I asked if I should have had paper copies and she said digital was fine to.

I know the drive thru one is free but I thought I remembered people saying if they just walked inside the pharmacy they had to pay.
