Wait times whilst parades are on.

Before FP+ we would take advantage of the slightly shorter lines whilst afternoon/night time parades or night time fireworks were in progress. Can anyone comment if this is still the same since FP+ was introduced.

We went last month. We went to Tomorrowland aroubd 8:30-8:45. We had FP for Wishes but decided to skip MSEP. We walked onto Laugh Floor, Stitch and had maybe a 10 min wait for Speedway. We got in line for Wishes FP at 9:30. I think it's all going to depend what land you're visiting.

We experienced the same old "lull" with shorter wait times when parades were on and fireworks were going. I am supposing that a great many people faced with making fastpass options so far in advance and not armed with as much info as many people here are, simply schedule things not knowing or really caring about the times. They then skip a fast pass for a parade or fireworks show. Plans that far in advance don't always go as planned. kids get cranky etc.....so , at least for now it appears that this time period is a good one to hit rides otherwise jammed by crowds. That is what we experienced anyway. We just went in April and again in May.

Thanks for that, we usually try to get ourselves to one of the mountains about ten minutes before the parade and can usually get a couple of rides standby back to back with very little wait. I'll keep my fingers crossed this still works next year, hopefully by then FP+ will be locked in to some sort of final phase and we will start to see some accurate wait time figures surfacing.

Love parades. While everyone else is watching, I can get on the rides a lot faster

We rode Splash Mountain with no wait during the night parade last month. We were able to watch a big part of the parade after we got off the ride as the parade ended in Frontierland.
