How long have the waits been during early entry recently, particularly for the big rides like ROTR, FOP, etc? I’ll be staying off site December 13-18 and I’m just wondering if it’s even worth it to try to get a short wait times on those first thing. I know I could look on the app from home but I’d have to set an alarm and wake my roommates up lol

I’d like to tag in my question - how far in advance of early hours are you all arriving? An hour prior or even earlier? I’m especially interested in how early to get to MK and HS for earlier hours. Thanks!

We arrived at MK, HS, and Epcot all about 15-20 minutes before EE started and were pretty close to the front at all 3 parks.
Went to HM first at MK and were in the 1st stretching room. SDD at HS first and on the second train. FEA first at Epcot and were on the first full boat (they had one family officially "open" the ride and they got the first boat to themselves, we would've been on that first boat otherwise).

Thanks, that's helpful for our upcoming trip. Not as crowded as I expected at EE.

I'm also curious to hear, as the OP had asked, if there are any experiences for off site guest and what they get to rope drop.
im wondering if there is such a thing anymore for offsite guest, and rope drop is really just for 2nd tier attractions only when staying offsite.

All guests were let into the very front of each park, then you had to scan in again to get to the different sections of the park.

I think they mean RD may be pointless for the most popular rides like ROTR and FOP for offsite guests and it’s better to do 2nd tier rides first

We went right before the 50th started during trial run of EE and were at MK 20 minutes before early entry and went right to 7dmt. It was a posted 45 minute wait, with an actual 25 minute wait. We had super low crowds that day though.

I think we are going to target getting to the parks 30 mins before early entry... Animal Kingdom is already 730 a.m. early entry on our trip, so that will already be early to catch transportation to arrive at 7 a.m.

Are buses running an hour before early entry, or just an hour before regular park opening?
