Yay, I found your PTR!! Loving it so far...can't believe you leave in a month. So, I was reading through all the pages of your PTR and noticed that picture you posted of the Harry Potter crew. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Neville (well, the actor who plays him) actually looks pretty good. When I first saw that picture, I didn't even recognize him. Ha! I can't wait to do the WWoHP. I've been listening to book 7 on my iPod (I've read it at least 5 times) and I started having dreams that Voldemort was chasing me. Yeah, needless to say, I'm obsessed!

Glad you had a nice 4th! Glad you didn't have too much rain - we got some on Sunday and fireworks were rained out too - but we're going to see some this weekend instead to make up or it!

Yes, I'll still keep posting the flashback pictures/updates. Still have a few more to go... I know the next few weeks will probably go super fast. I can't believe summer school is half over tomorrow. I've kind of got mixed feelings on our trip coming up so soon. I can't wait to go but at the same time that means summer will almost be over and it 'll be time to go back to regular school.

Cool they had the Mickeys! Which store did you see them in? I am assuming the main one? I'll have to bring some money along when we go. Woo hoo, I'm excited. As for the game...I don't think I want to know the final score. My sister flipped the game on for a second and it was 11-1 then. Just when I thought they were maybe on the upswing they go right back to their old ways.

Yeah, the Deathly Hallows is definitely my favorite out of the series. Oh, and that trailer...EPIC!!! I'm such a dork, I squealed when I saw it when we went to see Eclipse. I need to get out more.

My sister showed me the trailer and it does look amazing. It is kind of depressing the movies are almost done now too. We had a lot of fun going to the midnight show for HBP.

I can't believe we're only a month away. YAY!!!! Time is going to fly by now. Like I said I'll start posting park plans soon but for now how about another flashback?

Trip #3: 1995

Our third trip brought us back to the Polynesian. I'm sure you all know by now how much we all loved it there. Captain Cook's, playing on the beach, monorails, what's not to love about it?!

If I am remembering correctly, I think this was the trip when we tried Thunder Mountain for the first time. It was my first roller coaster and I remember walking up to the mountain and my heart was practically beating out of my chest. I was so scared! Luckily I didn't chicken out and now it's one of my favorites. Emma actually came off crying. Not because she hated it...she LOVED it and wanted to go ride it again! Dad always jokes about how people probably thought they were such terrible parents for forcing their daughter to ride it. Doesn't it figure that the youngest is the most daring?!

Another big thing we did on this trip was visit Sea World for the first time. It was so neat seeing all of the dolphins, whales, and other animals.

I should mention I made a mistake in my last flashback. My dad and sister noticed that in the one picture of us with Dreamfinder we look a little older and said that might've been from 1995. Turns out they are right! Take a look at these pictures. Notice anything similar?

We're wearing the same jackets! Oops. Sorry for that randomness, just felt I should correct myself. So the Figment pic is actually from 1995. Guess that's what happens when you go so many times. And another bit of randomness, my hat that I'm wearing is a Mighty Ducks hat. I was never a hockey fan but my soccer team at that time was named the Mighty Ducks. I thought it was pretty cool when my mom got me that to wear for our trip.

Another note on the jackets. This trip was in February and it was really cold! Notice I'm wearing gloves in the picture above. I think we were finally able to use the pool on our last day.

29 days for me!!!!! I agree with the weather...over the weekend when it was 90+ degrees, I questioned whether we moved to FL or Cincinnati!!! I'll be updating my PTR today as well!

Hooray for ONE MONTH!!!!!

And I love all of the flashback pics!! But what were we thinking in the 90s with all of that floral? Every piece of clothing for girls had some sort of floral pattern on it. I was looking through pics from my first trip to WDW and my little 4 year old self was wearing a hideous lavendar floral outift. Ugh.

I've been away from DIS for a while because of my church's retreat and my new summer job. Plus, there was that other thing that you know about that I haven't DISed about yet

We don't do anything for the 4th of July because sometimes we're actually at the retreat site. I think it'd be really fun to have a barbecue and all that and start some new traditions when Weird and I get married. Even if it's something as simple as having hot dogs and lemonade in our Disney cups, it'll be fun!

Woohoo for Captain EO! I don't remember it that much, but I do know that I thought I'd be scared of it as a kid, but my entire family really liked it.

HAHA, how funny are you to let everyone know about VB's fall colors! I did go to the site to see what they were though I like Barcelona! As a park bag, the other prints are brighter and cuter, but Barcelona is something I'd use on a daily basis at home. Of course, I don't need a new bag either. I'm still in love with my Lesportsac and use it when going out with Weird. I even used it at retreat, and I still kept saying, "I love my bag."

I'm really excited that you'll be there in a month! Haha, are you going to finish your other TR or are you going to have two going on at once?

Don't you wish you could go back to the days of wacky windbreakers and colorful pants? It was so much easier to get dressed. Throw on a pair of leggings or jeans and a bright top and off you go! And I can't forget my Keds!

You will still be able to get a hipster in Night and Day if you want to...they are just restyling it for the fall. Only bad thing is it won't be on sale.

I just looked at the new colors, and I really like them! And I saw the Night and Day is available again too, so now I don't know which one to pick!

Totally fine about mixing up the pictures in your trip report, yes WDW can be chilly in Feb. I love the flashback pictures.

The Mickey statue was actually at the store behind home plate, 30.00. It is super cute, but I don't know that I want something that large. If it was a small, maybe 3-4" statue I would purchase it for sure.

Sorry to get off topic, but I just found out that the parade of All Stars goes through DL on Tuesday the 13th. If you have MLB network they are televising the parade at 3:00PM. How cool is that? My DVR is set for all the programs.

I understand about not wanting Summer to come to an end, it has been so nice here. Have a great weekend.

How cool you get to see Summer Nightastic and all the new stuff. Figures the first year we deviate from a summer trip they change it up.

I don't like seeing Harry Potter people not in character. It's too weird. Look how short Daniel is!

We had a Mears shuttle once and it got us from point A to point B just fine.

Whoa, the Hulk ride looks very.... Hulky I'd need coaxing to get on that thing. Do you think the other parts of Universal/IoA will be less busy because of WWoHP?

Oh gosh, you have to do Forbidden Journey! Can you take something for the motion sickness just before the ride maybe? Oh I can't wait to see your pictures from this day. I hear the details are incredible!

I love the Boardwalk idea for your first day. Taking it easy, gorging on a No Way Jose which I've heard is pure heaven and then relaxing after you've stuffed your tummy. Ahhhhhh

I love all your flashback memories! You are so lucky to have been able to go often. Mmmmm, kinda like Demetri being five years old and going back for a fifth time this year! The youngest usually get the perks don't they?

I agree with Kara, what was up with all the floral patterns back then? I can't count how many outfits I've seen of myself in old pictures that were of pink, red or purple floral patterns. And of course all the different colored leggings to match, lol!

Aww, that does sound like a fun tradition to start. It's not like our barbecues are anything fancy, we pretty much just get together and talk. LOL. A couple times we've gone to Brewers games but they've been out of town the last couple years.

LOL, the Barcelona is probably my least favorite of the new prints but after seeing it in person it isn't all that bad. I just am not a huge fan of the stripy border.

I hope I will be able to finish my other TR before we go. I can't imagine having 2 going at once. I will start to get them all mixed up!
