DVC Direct Price Increase Coming February 2026

Not a BLT owner…. but I would like to add that the 1 and 2 Bd room layouts are pretty great as well.

I much prefer it to VGF.

Idk why they didn't continue with 2 bathrooms in the 1BR.

That really justifies the point jump from studio to 1BR.

This is a game changer to our family - the convenience of the extra bathroom is a big deal. It's one reason why the Poly Tower is our go to resort and we like BLT for that reason alone. Recently booked a villa at AKV and it looks like the extra bathrooms are a Kidani village thing, but not so at Jambo house? Can somebody confirm that?

I know RIV did. I know nothing about VGF, nada. I do wonder what made them go off course with RIV and the floor plans. They went off course with CFW because well it's CFW. I cant remember if I saw any leaked floor plans for LSL. I would think they have to file stuff with the city prior to building and it's available to the public. (note to self: go see if you can find floor plans for LSL)

The building plans are only public record to licensed professionals. When poly tower was being built I tried to get the plans to see what the restaurant was going to look like. I even filed a FOI request. they politely asked me to leave them alone.

wonder if you have to be licensed in Florida? My son is a professional civil engineer in the Pacific NW, but holds license in a couple of states. But I know he'd just stare at me and shake his head if I asked

You can try, but I had a nice chat with the man at the building department. He explained that even though I was only interested in finding out if the restaurant was going to be quick serve or full serve, other bad people might want the building plans to commit crimes, so nobody gets them. I thought about asking him to blink twice if it looked to be a full service restaurant, but I could tell he was growing tired of me so I didn’t push it.

I want to know but not enough to put forth much effort. I was just going to search the 2 LSL threads here on the boards.
