Vero Beach Roof Replacement

We're going in May - have a 1 bedroom villa.

Just received a letter letting us know that the Inn would be getting a new roof during that time and that there would be noise in the inn and around the common areas and scaffolding.

We have 2 boys - 3 years and 1 1/2 and are quite concerned about noise during the day during nap time - these kids are a wreck without naps..

What do you think? Will we hear the noise in the 1 bedrooms?

My guess is you'll probably be fine...the 1bdrm villas are in the bldng's separate from the main bldgn and they're doing the referbishment in sections....if you are in any of the bldngs to the left (if facing the resort from the ocean side) those blngs are on the left side of the pool area so you'd have the pool between those bldngs and the main Inn bldng. Maybe you could request one of those bldngs? We were in one of them last June - think it was bldng.#15? I'm sure someone with a Map of VB resort could give you which #'s to request.

We'll be there from April 30-May 7th in a 1bdrm. If you are going after that, I'll let you know how the noise was

It also apprears like they are starting the roof work on the 1/3 of the roof closest to the pool. Since they were talking about it taking all summer they should still be working on that section in May. So either of the end villa buildings should be a better bet.
