Vero Beach Connecting Inn Rooms???

Is it possible to get connecting rooms? Should I call the resort directly to make a request several days before arriving? Right now I have an ocean view and a garden view reserved but would gladly switch to both garden if we could connect. Thanks

I know that there are connecting ocean view inn rooms, don't know if there are connecting garden view. We hadn't requested the "connecting" part, but asked that our 2 OVIR be near each other and we got lucky. I would call MS...at this time, it may not be possible to even switch the types of rooms. I was on a waitlist for Garden view for June, and it didn't come through, but as it turns out, we don't need it.

We've had connecting rooms at VB twice. Both times were OV. Both times we requested it when we made our reservations through MS. I believe we were told it was only a request. Both times we mentioned it at check-in and they were aware of it and we got it. I'm guessing that we made reservations at the 7 month mark both times. Don't know about GV rooms that are connecting. Someone has a really good map of the rooms showing which ones are connecting - maybe they'll read this thread and post it!
