Vera Bradley lovers... help would be appreciated!

Is the tote or the on the go?? I have gotten a paperback in both, but the tote will hold magazines etc too.

I would not put a kindle in a handbag, it's too shallow.

Love me some Vera!! I currently have the large duffel (cupcakes pink), weekender (purple punch), hipster (capri blue) and then a ton of the small accessories-- 3 zip id's (hope toille, red, and cupcakes pink), zip around wallet (capri blue), cell phone case (capri blue), and some other things I can't remember.
I'm actually not a fan of any of the purses, per say (except I really like Gabby for a fun summer purse!). I'm more of a Coach girl. For accessories and travel wear, VB can't be beat. I use my zip id's to hold my cash, DL, and CC's when I don't want to use my wallet/big purse. I also used this to hold all of the above and my KTTW on our last Disney trip. I used the hipster to hold all my crap on this trip and have to say that it was the perfect size. I love the cross body style! It never hurt my back or dug into my shoulder.
I have used the large duffel on weeklong trips and LOVE it! It's just pretty:goodvibes and holds a ton of stuff. The weekender now acts as my carry-on-- I've had it hold a change of clothes, small toiletries, magazines, etc. It fits under the seat if shmushed and I love the double handles.

Hmm. I went and looked. I think I've switched from the Hobo to wanting an Angle Tote. Ugh. I can't decide. :rotfl: I like the way the Angle Tote opens up and that it has a zipper.

I ended up really liking the "On the Go", though. I'll probably order that one in Raspberry Fizz and now I just need to decide what else I want...

I love my daisy daisy on the go! Mid size bag with perfect pockets- really user friendly to keep things separate. It's my favorite and I drag a lot of stuff around with me.

My daughter's friend gave it to her because she didn't like it and I borrowed it and never gave it back to my daughter. A little big for a 12 yr old but perfect for me. I will easily get another on the go- it is my favorite style.

Thank you! :worship::worship:

I have Google'd the crap out of "Vera Bradley reviews" and never got that. :confused3
This site looks awesome!!

Your welcome! And one of our own Diser's started the site. :)

Does anyone know what's going on with the Taxi Wallet? It just disappeared from the website.

I have one in Java Blue & was going to order a couple more, but it isn't there anymore.

I would have thought if it was being retired that it would still be there, but just be marked down.
?:confused3

Hmmm... sounds like I need to look at the Saddle Up bags.

To the PP who said they list the dimensions-- I realize that but it doesn't do anything for me. I want to know more than the size!

For example, I thought the Stephanie would be perfect! I was all set to order it when I decided to go look at one in stores and HATED it. I don't like how stiff it is.

I'm still hoping SOMEONE has an On the Go!!

I have the On the Go. It is smaller than the Stephanie but will still hold a normal size wallet comfortably with room for other stuff. Has the pockets on the end for cell phone like the Stephanie. I used to carry it before I had my son and it was fine but now I carry the Stephanie and love it. I love that it is roomy enough to throw a diaper and wipes in when I dont want to carry the diaper bag.

Yeah, that isn't plausible for me... I'll be carrying a diaper bag pretty constantly for awhile now. :rotfl:

Thanks for the review, I think I'll probably order the On the Go in Raspberry Fizz.

I just don't like the style of the Saddle Up bag. It doesn't seem like a 'casual' bag to me, I guess.

For those of you with little ones, consider hte Pleated Tote!! This is my new love. It is a larger bag, but not incredibly too wide. It has great organization and pockets on the outside...super nice bonus is that it zips shut. The straps are long enough to put on your shoulder. I normally use a wristlet inside of it, this way if I am on the run by myself I can just grab the wristlet vs the whole bag.

Also..for those looking at Raspberry Fizz, it is discounted as it is a retired color

My kids hate my Saddle Up. If I ask them to get me my bag and they ask which one, I say 'the ugly one' and they bring me my saddle, lol!

I didn't wanna say it but, yeah, I think it's ugly. :rotfl:
It's just not me. I like the Hobo, the On the Go, the handbag, etc... more design-less purses. I wasn't wild about the Stephanie either.

I love my Cargo Sling but it's too big. It's just too much space so I think the On the Go will be perfect, but I like that the Hobo hold it's shape.

merlinspride, I was just looking at the Pleated Tote this morning! It came up in Call Me Coral on the website and I love that pattern!!

I want one purse in Raspberry Fizz and one in Call Me Coral but I can't decide which for which. It just seems like $43 for an On the Go in a retired color is still a lot for such a small purse.
Plus, I love the Hobo in Call Me Coral with the stripe down the middle.
Maybe I'll give up on an On the Go for today and get the Pleated Tote in Raspberry Fizz and a Hobo in Call Me Coral. :rotfl: Little over what I wanted to spend.

Okay, the more I dig on there I totally can't find the reviews. :confused3 Am I missing something....

There is a discount code right now to save $20 off $100 on VeraBradley.com...have to look it up..ok found it '20off100' use it in the couopn box when ordering.

I think the 'off' is in lowercase, try it both ways as the codes are case sensitive.

Yeah, the problem is more that I ordered a hipster and a small duffel last week for my "birthday" (which was Wednesday) so I'm only supposed to be shopping for a bag for my parents to get me. :flower3: They said $75.. so I thought, hey.. I could add another bag and use the code and get something else and just pay the difference.

DH doesn't care but I still feel guilty. It's not like I could use two purses at once or something. I wonder if I can put one in a basket and say "Happy Easter!"

Or maybe say "Hey, honey.. it's been awhile since you get a new Xbox game..." :rotfl2:

I have an On The Go. It's about medium size with an adjustbale strap. there are two pockets on either side of the outside. Perfect for a cell phone or sunglasses. It also has a zipper pocket on the outside that goes the whole length of the purse. Inside, it has three quilted pockets, side by side. It has an adjustable strap that can theoretically be worn crossbody, but io'm about 5'3 and it runs a bit short and comes up a bit high for me. It's a great everyday bag. If you're looking for something a little bit bigger, or a different look with the same kind of space, i would also reccomend the Saddle Up.

Here's part of my collection!! :thumbsup2 (Wrote a blog post on obsessions. DH walked in and saw all of that together and about had a heart attack. Oops!)

My absolute favorite bag is the Reversible Tote ... I can get my VB planner, half a dozen bagels, a paperback and the rest of my usual purse crap in there all at once. The outside pockets are perfect for my cellphone and keys.

I just got the pleated tote in Raspberry Fizz, and I LOVE it! I agree, it would make a fantastic diaper/kids stuff bag!
