WOAH! Go here and click on the video and turn up the sound. I am dying with all the new visual information!
Thanks Jennifer Ferguson of The Magic in the Music for pointing it out!

Great find! The hotel itself looks more impressive to me than the rooms, the pool area looks great, and as a family of 3 who usually stays in studios I love the kitchenette layout far more than the standard DVC "hallway" style. Encouraging...still not thrilled with the "theming," but the pendulum swings back towards buy...

I like the interiors much more than I expected so that's a nice pleasant surprise. Reminds me of the Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel aesthetic. The rooms don't jive with me though and I'm ambivalent about the pool. No add ons for me, I'll end up with more points than I need in DL.

So its looking like a 40 year contract at $227pp.?

Well, a less than 50 year contract is not unprecedented. Beach Club started with only 40 years. 39 years for VDH would be very disappointing though

Great video! I am just not feeling this “theme”. Really feels like a hotel. Will be waiting for Poly2.
Yeah I get that but so is the Grand Floridian for an example. The resort studios at Big Pine Key were hotel rooms and still they were able to create some “ theme”.

I think the artist renderings look really nice, even if there isn't a "theme." I think it looks like the new tower will fit in nicely with the other towers. And the fact that it's so shiny and new definitely makes it appealing. I still think I prefer the location and craftsman style of the Grand Californian though. But who knows...maybe some day I'll be able to have points for both! A girl can dream, right?

However, it did turn out that VGF was listed at same price as current sales and therefore highly likely VDH will start at $217
Unless the base price goes up between now and then.

The difference could also be closing costs--at least in part.
