VDH Opening

Look what they did at Boulder Ridge (yeah, it's new, but modern; definitely not the Great Lodge aesthetic), and the Boardwalk lobby, to say nothing of the new VGF resort rooms. I expect a similar Wayfair-ing of VGC.
Let’s not forget the awful subway tile backsplashes they put into the Boulder Ridge rooms. I can’t think of anything more off theme for a Wilderness Lodge than subway tile.

Exactly - it may be updated but it's also majorly white washed. Not a fan!

It's really crazy that they are opening for booking in a couple weeks and still haven't said the price. Is this standard when they open new villas or what?!
No, this isn't standard, at least not for the FL properties. But folks who were around for VGC might know if it happened then? DVCNews.com has a neat chart that showed, among other info, how long it took between resort opening and the start of sales on the most recent properties:

I think it's interesting that RVA was on sale for so long before opening while PVB not so much. Anyway, this doesn't include VGC, which might be more helpful.
