hey all! we are going may next year. im curious, as we have never stayed at hojo, how fast do they book up? should i be expecting to book them quite a while before? i usually start PLANNING trips about 1 year in advance, and start booking things about 6 months, and 3 months i wrap everything up. im very anal about organization, LOL! but what about hojo? when is a "safe" time to book to make sure you get rooms. i usually book hotel 4-6 months before. do i need to go that far advance for the hojo? thanks!

I don't know how fast they book up, but if you are looking at dates that are available at the Entertainment Card Rate I would book them as soon as you see them come available to ensure that you get that rate. When I was talking with Jennifer last week she said there are people that book 4 or 5 different times at that rate and then cancel once they firm up their plans! The cancellation policy is 48 in advance and they don't charge anything until you get there.

That's pretty much exactly what I was going to say too. I book HOJO's ent rate as soon as they are published for my dates. Those seem to go fairly quickly. Plus, as was mentioned above, you can cancel without penalty so if your plans change cancelling shouldn't be an issue.

OH AWESOME! thanks so much. yes we are using the ENT. rate and actually i was JUST checking the dates, LOL, and they have posted up to two months before our trip so ill keep watchin. great thinking though i didnt really think about that aspect of it, that the ent. rate is definetely gonna book up MUCH faster! thankyou thankyou! i will book AS SOON as i can see those rates. ill probably do what one of ya said and book 6 days, in two different weeks befause we wont know if its the 2nd to last, or the very last week of may, because DH doesnt get his vacay finalized till december rolls around and the new year starts. thanks so much!

You can also go ahead and book your dates and if they pop up with the entertainment rate, you just call and have them change it over to that rate for you! :thumbsup2
