I booked a bounce back package for this september, the cast member booked it with trip insurance, without asking. I have only paid for the deposit the question is: If I cancel the trip now will deduct the cost of the insurance and only reimburse me the difference??

You have 14 days from booking to cancel the insurace. Did you not check the confirmation email or get anything in the mail from disney?

Well It was my parents res. My mom told me a couple of days ago to check it and I saw that she had the insurance added. I guess she never check it. So they will deduct the insurance and give me the difference back. Is that my answer?

How about if they only change the dates??

Yes they will refund everything but the insurance. Insurance is for specific dates. If they change by a few days Disney will usually change it but if they change dates completely they lose the insurance in the instance also

If you cancel after the 14 day period you get your deposit back LESS the money of the insurance, if you change the dates you get your deposit back LESS the insurance. Trip insurance is only for the original dates booked. You chg dates or cancel and you don't get that money back.

Now I am reading throught the terms of the insurance, it says it is only available for residents of certain countries, which they do not reside, so my question is they should not have booked it for them with insurance? Will this be grounds to ask for a full reimbursement, since in theory they were never insured??

Yes. Call and tell them
