?? Using Pricline for Airfare/does it work??

I was woundering if its a good thing to use Priceline for AirFare. DH & I are going to Gd Bahamas(NO KIDS!!!). I the prices are high. We thought we would try pricline. Has anyone tried this. PLEASE let me know. Thank you.

I myself have not, but, in addition to asking here on the CB, maybe copy this post to the Transportation board and get some additional input there, great experts on that board too. Just a thought. Here is the link.
