Uppy, Uppy, Mr. Andy -- Update -- WRAP UP -- Post 1346, Page 90

I'm glad you were able to spread the pixie dust when giving those FPs away to the newlyweds :thumbsup2

Love the cartoon pics and yay on Andy getting some alone time with Winnie The Pooh - you got some great PP pics!

Wow at having your Christmas decorations up! They look so pretty and very festive.

Where do I start?!?! :goodvibes

Love the story behind the trip report title. I thought it would most surely have something to do with the girls and Andy carrying one or both. So sweet! He will be a good daddy someday because he's been raised so well!

Lovely Thanksgiving meal! So warm and inviting! :thumbsup2 Good job by you!!!

Such cute pictures at DHS with Pooh! I love the fact that Andy still shows the love! I hope my kids will never outgrow that, either! :goodvibes

Love the Christmas decorations and your tree is lovely! I'm still in minor shock that we are truly in the holiday season but thankful nonetheless to be here!! Your home is very festive and I love all of the Disney decor!!!! (speaking of which - I have a throw from Disney World with Mickey/Minnie/Cinderella's castle and it's my favorite cover up!)

So sweet of you to make the newlyweds day with your FP's! You will forever be a honeymoon memory for them!

Sorry I haven't posted much lately, Kathy. With Tom being sick I had to tend to two households and for fun, my boss threw in a few extra lessons as well.

So sweet Andy wanted to ride with you! And I love how he and his little friend "bonded". I was thinking the title of your TR must have to do with the kids wanting to be carried, so it was fun to find out I was right once I read your explanation.

The Pooh pictures are fun. We never do a lot of character pics, but it looks like something we should do!

Your Christmas decorations look fab! Some of them look VERY familiar - I have seen them around our house(s) as well. It's fun to see that you all have your trees up a month before Christmas. We only put ours up on Christmas Eve, but then we have real trees.
I haven't finished decorating yet, but will take pictures and post them on my pre-trip report soon.

Karin, how is Tom feelling? I still have the running nose and cough--and it is two weeks today. :headache:

Andy is so good with kids...always has been. He is a great young man.

We always do character pictures...it's part of the charm of Disney.

Thank you; I love the Pooh and Andy pics.

I'm glad you like my Christmas decorations.

Thanks, Amy. It was a great Thanksgiving meal...and only the third time I have made a turkey.

Andy didn't do character pictures when he took his 13 year old baseball team in 2009. I think he thought the boys would think he was a little nuts! :lmao::lmao::lmao: So I was delighted to get them.

I can't believe the holiday season is here either. I made my first Christmas cookies last night (peanut butter cookies with Hershey kisses) and I'm making more tday. I love those Disney throws...a great way to curl up on the sofa.

The pictures of Andy with Pooh just made me smile. They are great. Looks like you had a very nice Thanksgiving, too. And I love your Mickey wreath. You have so many cool Disney Christmas decorations and the tree is beautiful. You had a very productive weekend.

Over 30 pages back, but caught up now! :goodvibes I'm so happy Andy decided to come this trip, what a special treat. And the "Uppy, uppy Mr. Andy" is completely adorable. :lovestruc

Looking forward to more!

Hi Kathy, Seems like a lot of us spent part of the weekend setting up our trees and decorations. The way I see it it is a bunch of work so why not get to enjoy it for about a month or so. Your house looks so cute and festive enjoy the season! Elaine

Thank you, Tina. It's been a very nice holiday weekend; hope you had one too.

I try to buy something new Disney for Christmas each year. This year, I bought several things. :lmao::lmao:

Brook, i'm glad you are caught up. I'm thrilled Andy came too.

Thanks, Elaine. Decorated, and I made five batches of cookies this weekend. I'm exhausted. :rotfl2::rotfl2: I hope you enjoy the season too.

So I ended with us having a very special visit with Pooh.

It was time to use those coveted fastpasses for Toy Story Mania. Andy had yet to be on this attraction; for some reason he totally missed it when there with his team in 2009. I let him ride with his dad since they are more competitive than me.

A few pictures we walked through the fastpass lane:

I did not get pictures of Mark and Andy's scores since I was in a separate car. But I do know that a wager was placed before the start of the game and the person who lost had to buy the first beer at Epcot when we got there. Can any one guess who was going in their wallet once we arrived at World Showcase???? If you guessed Andy you win. Andy was NOT happy. If Andy has one fault it is he HATES to lose at anything.

After TSM, I wanted to see One Man's Dream becasue it was closed on our last visit, so we headed over there.

A few pictures I took inside:

After "One's Man Dream" we decided it was time to leave. Andy and Mark decided they wanted to get some swim time in before we headed to Epcot, so it was time to head to the car and drive back to OKW.

A couple of photos on our way out:

We then decided to stop for photopass pictures before we headed out.

When we got near the front of the park, Mark decided he had to take a little boys room break, so Andy and I said we would meet him up by the little gift stand when you first walk in. When we got to this point, there was some "entertainment" going on. Andy and I watched and enjoyed; after a few other guests intermingled with the entertainment, I encouraged Andy to do so (by this time Mark was back to enjoy). Andy went over, and here is a photo:

Day6107.jpg

You had to be there, but I truly do believe "she" was in love when she saw Andy; I don't think it was acting at all. She asked him where he'd been all her life, etc., but you could see in her eyes she thought he was a handsome fella. I don't think she was quite "expecting" him.

We finally left the park and got back to OKW. The boys headed to the pool while I hand washed a few t-shirts and then I walked over to the pool area to put them in the dryer. I took a few pictures of my men while there:

Day6108.jpg

Mark always plays "fishies" in the water maneuvering his fingers to make "fishies." Well, like father, like son...they both were doing it:

Day6109.jpg

I went back to the room to start packing as we would be leaving the next day for Marco Island after our MK day. The boys stayed at the pool and then brought the laundry back with them. They both took quick showers and we headed off to Epcot.

Up next: We arrive at Epcot

So after pool time and showers, we were back off to Epcot. We walked to the bus stop and waited again less than 2 minutes for the bus to arrive (no driving tonight as we knew for sure that adult beverages would be consumed).

We arrived at Epcot around 3:45 or so. We had a 4:30 ADR for LeCellier, but we had time to do a few things before walking over there. The first of that would be to stop at Club Cool and have Andy try the Beverly.

Day6112.jpg

I put some in a cup and told Andy to try this one but to wait until I was ready to take a picture. At that point, he didn't trust me. He said why do you want to take a picture? What are you up to? Me, being Miss Innocent told him nothing.

The results:

Andy's reaction: he did not like that at all. :lmao::lmao:

At this point, Andy wanted to go look for something in Mousegears and told us he would meet us at LeCellier. Mark and I took our time strolling over and stopped for a few pictures along the way:

A nice couple offered to take our picture:

We then took their picture and decided to walk over for a photopass picture of the two of us at Epcot without Andy in it (no offense, Andy):

It was then time to head over to meet Andy at LeCellier.

After dinner, it was time to stroll World Showcase until we met up with Mary, Jeff and the girls.

We decided to watch the movie in France. Andy waiting for it to start:

Then it was off to the American Pavillion. We missed the American Adventure last year, so I wanted to see it this year. As we walked in, Mark and I were approached and told we had a phone call. We had Mickey Mouse wishing us a very Happy Anniversary...more pixie dust on the trip. :goodvibes

Still more Epcot to come: meeting up with the urchins, drinks at the Cave Bar for two people and more fun times

:woohoo: for fun at EPCOT. Another round of great pictures. Everyone looks like they're having a blast. Where did you answer the phone? How cool!

You've been an updating fool.... I love Marks Beer goggles :goodvibes

I bet that lady was in love with Andy...if I was only a few years younger.

LOVE the beer goggles! I need to find those when we go... one of Eddie's coaches is single and that would be a perfect gift for him! :rotfl:

I noticed Andy's shirt - Winter baseball meetings Orlando... and I wonder if that is the same meeting Eddie attended. He goes to Anaheim this year (actually in January) for winter meetings. One of these years I'm going with him... :goodvibes

I agree - that CM in DHS was :lovestruc with your son... you can see it in the picture!! :goodvibes

I can't wait to come back and see all your pictures. I do remember the beer goggles, which I think are hysterical! Can't wait to see those and the picture of Andy tasting the Beverly. That's always a fun shot! :rotfl:

I loved getting to read so many updates in one sitting! At least the lady at DHS didn't chase him down the street or anything! :lmao: I can't wait to see Andy's Beverly face.

I do have one :sad2: note. Where is Eeyore in your Christmas decorations? Not enough Eeyore in my book and I have a feeling Mark would agree! Now that I put my two cents in.... I should probably work on decorating my house.:rolleyes1:rotfl:

I was behind because of our trip to Tennessee but am all caught up now. There are way too many things to comment on but it does look like you guys were having a great time together. You know that I, personally, understand just how special it is to have one of your grown kids go back to Disney World with you.

Love your Christmas decorations!

So Andy had his first experiences with TSM and Beverly on the same day? That's an awful lot to handle. Love how Mark bested him on TSM. :thumbsup2

Hope you enjoyed Le Cellier! I'll have to find your dining review.
