New Disney Visa "Inspire" card

Yes, and you are correct, the service rep didn't know too much, I think I had more information than she did. This is good to know, I did know room deposits counted, but was not sure if I charged merchandise and meals back to the room if it would count towards the amount, the service rep said she did not think it would. I often rent DVC points, so I don't get credit for that, but over the year will spend $2K on everything else, and I do charge it back to the room.
Yes, what you're explaining should 100% count for the 2k credit once you've accumulated that much spend within your anniversary year.

If you go online the look under the disney rewards, find the transaction and open it up. You should see a line that says "Disney Resort Anniversary Bonus" if it helps to qualify for that. Here is my recent folio charge. Although it doesnt fully meet the 2k spend, it shows that is "qualifies" to help go towards it.

I scanned and did not see a solid answer about pre-buying on board credit with DCL but I *think* it is going to count towards the 2K spend. I did $100 as a test, and on Chase it shows as 'DCL reservation'. I'll have to wait for it to post to be sure, but now I know where to look, thank you!

Anniversary year is YTD from when you were approved, right? And not calendar year resetting 12/31? Just trying to map out how to get to $2k and that extra two months in 2027 will be important.

200 Disney Rewards Dollars on U.S. Disney Resort Spend Each Anniversary Year
You will receive 200 Disney Rewards Dollars automatically applied to your account after $2,000 in Qualifying Purchases each Anniversary Year. Qualifying Purchases are when you use your Disney Inspire Visa Card for U.S. Disney Resort purchases made directly with Disney (including through Disney operated websites, apps or call centers) for Disney Resorts Collection at Walt Disney World® Resort, Disneyland® Resort Hotels, AULANI Resort, Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort and Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. Qualifying Purchases include Resort hotel rates (including associated taxes and fees) and folio expenses and Resort vacation package purchases (including Theme Park tickets purchased as part of a vacation package). Qualifying Purchases also include Disney Cruise Line stateroom rates booked directly with Disney Cruise Line in U.S. Dollars (which includes associated taxes and fees but excludes folio expenses and port adventures). Purchases made for Adventures by Disney, National Geographic Expeditions or international Disney Resorts or Parks will not qualify. Purchases of Disney Theme Park tickets (unless purchased as part of a Disney vacation package) also do not qualify. “Anniversary Year” means the year beginning with your credit card account open date through the anniversary of your credit card account open date, and each 12 months after that. For accounts that switch to the Disney Inspire Visa Card, the account open date is the date the switch is official in the Chase system. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks after Qualifying Purchases post to your account for the Disney Rewards Dollars to post to your account. The 200 Disney Rewards Dollars will be issued for the Anniversary Year in which the transaction posts to your account. For example, if you make a Qualifying Purchase, but the transaction does not post until after your current Anniversary Year ends, the cost of the purchase will be allocated toward the following Anniversary Year’s Disney Rewards Dollar bonus.

In order to get the $100 credit on park tickets I assume you have to buy them directly from Disney? Parksavers or any of the other authorized sellers wouldn't count?

I hope so. I really want to send a support link to P2. I used their support link from their no-fee Disney card and I thought the support bonus hit quickly, but now I don't know.

Has anyone sent out a support link, the person got the new Inspire, and had a support bonus credited? Did you have to wait until your next statement closed?
I used my no fee Disney to support husband who was approved for Inspire. The $100 support is now showing as pending on the no fee Disney rewards...not my Inspire rewards. I imagine the $100 will post as soon as the statement closes which will be Thursday.

I supported DH with my no-fee Disney then he supported me with his new Inspire. We got both bonuses. They went pending first and then I got the rewards at statement close. He actually got his rewards on the new Inspire before I got mine on the first support with the no-fee card because his statement closed before mine.

Approved last Thursday and anxiously awaiting the card’s arrival in the mail — hope it gets here soon!

We did get confirmation that Disney Dining Plans count toward the $2k in resort spending right? Planning on using the card for that plus enough to get the ticket credit ASAP.

Idk if anyone mentioned this or tried it, but AI suggests i buy disney gift cards at my resort shop during my stay and charge to the room to help meet the 2k spend. After that my plan is to use the GCs to pay dvc dues....

Unfortunately, there are several reports that gift cards can't be charged to the room.
