Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets are for sale for everyone now but I'm not yet seeing them as available on TripAdvisor. Does anyone know if/when these event tickets are likely to appear here? We'd like to use the 12% off coupon from RMN, since we tend to average about 10-15% savings on our DGC I think for us it makes sense to not use the DGC balance to make this purchase but to use the TripAdvisor savings (unless anyone has an experience/reason why they wouldn't!).

I also did not see them on TripAdvisor. Did the previous post that mentioned the 12% also say that you have to use the app for the code to work? I have almost never gotten these deals to show up, it's always "Sorry, this code is invalid due to [some rubbish]." Heh

For those with Target Circle bonus offers, note the language for qualifying offers:

"A "qualifying purchase" is a purchase made with your Target Circle Card after you activate the offer that meets the minimum purchase threshold. Your purchase qualifies after automatic Target Circle deals are applied but before other discounts and coupons."

So what this is saying is that if you have a target circle deal that is auto applied (meaning you don't have to click on anything to activate the offer) that does NOT count towards the spending for the bonus.

For example, the 10% off on prepaid phone cards today is not auto applied (you have to check the box or click to apply the circle offer) so that amount being taken off by the circle offer would still count towards the spend offer.

However, if you buy nutrition items like protein bars which have a 20% auto applied circle bonus, the 20% being taken off would NOT apply towards the bonus (according to the way they have it worded).

Yes- that was something we had to figure out too, the code only works in the app!

12% must be used in the TripAdvisor App. If you don't want to use the app, you can use code "RMN10" on the website for 10% off. You must purchase through TripAdvisor.com though - if the page you are on says to book on Viator, the codes do not work there. You have to search under "Things To Do" and find the link to purchase on TripAdvisor.com

UGGG!!

So BJ's had one of their spend X amount on certain items and get a $10 reward, this time it was on chips and such. For the first time I can remember they overlapped and also had spend X amount on soft drinks and get a $10 reward. They over lapped for a few days.

Guess who transposed the spending amount and only purchased $30 on chips instead of $40?

This guy. OOOPS!!!!

So if any one needs soft drinks you need to spend $30 by July 14 and you will get a $10 in your account reward on 7-16 that expires on 7-22.

The rewards have been able to use used on DGC's in the past.

There are numerous datapoints from DOC and SD that the Chase Staples offer does work for 3rd party gift cards. Either the language that excludes gift cards is not being enforced or more likely, that just meant Staples gift cards since they are not processed by Staples.

Of course, if you wanted a Staples gift card, you could just purchase the Home Sweet Home Choice egift card and turn that into a Staples gift card.
