PetSmart - Stack the Savings!

We took Sherlock (standard Bernedoodle) for a much need cut. His hair became seriously matted from the harness and winter boots. We could not get a grip on them even though we brushed him every night.

Big difference in color from when he was an 8 week old puppy!

Recently PetSmart mailed out two coupons:
554144
  • Save $30 when you spend $150
  • Save $20 when you spend $100
  • Expires 2/14/21
I can confirm this stacks with 10% Military/Senior discount and their Salon Welcome Package for newbies. A couple of things worth noting:
  • The 10% Military/Senior discount can only be used on specific days. Our groomer said she'd honor the 10% any day she's working.
  • When you pay in advance per the Salon Welcome Package, the Military/Senior discount will not be included in your total. You'll have to save your receipt and work out the difference after each appointment has been completed.
  • Lastly, be sure your pet is in the correct category for the salon. Sherlock was listed as Bernese Mountain Dog ($94) which is more expensive vs the Goldendoodle ($81).
  • Buy/use discounted PetSmart gift cards!
On my receipt, you can see GOLDNDLE circled in red and the next charge is for a Bernese Mountain Dog which is more. We'll be going back to get that charge corrected. ::yes::

RMN has ShopDisney back at 5% today.

UPDATE: I used my VirtualVisa from Swagbucks, checked out via PayPal and bought a $25 e-gift card. It arrived within a few hours and I successfully transferred it to my physical card using the new Disney Gift Card site. There is now $1.25 showing as "pending" in my RMN account. It will not be payable until 3/20 so I will update later if it does not go through.

The color change is wild!

The color change is wild!

No doubt. The older he became the longer his fur and throughout the growth you could see three completely different colors on the same strand. And places where he was white is now gray to black. Sherlocks mom is a solid golden poodle, he may take after her more.

Thanks for posting!

Just adding, @kristenrice posted this as well on 10/19/20 and I placed on Post #2 Discount District under Virtual Visa's DP:

I regularly use my Virtual Visa at ShopDisney without issue, but I add it to my PayPal account FIRST and then checkout on the ShopDisney site using PayPal. I also go through RMN and I have (so far) had 100% success with getting my rebate credited with only gift card purchases. Here is the step-by-step for those interested...

1) Load Virtual Visa into my PayPal wallet (It's under the "Add Credit/Debit Card" option)
2) Go to Shop Disney via the RetailMeNot app or website
3) Select the gift card that I want (*I always choose the e-gift card)
4) Checkout using PayPal as my payment method
5) Select the Virtual Visa that I loaded into my PayPal account as the payment method
6) Wave to Joy when my order is confirmed:wave2:

Sometimes I sign in to my ShopDisney account, sometimes I don't...it doesn't seem to make a difference either way.

Glad to see it still working out!

Thanks! I gave this method a try using a virtual visa I had from swagbucks.

Wishing BJs would offer another Bulk Disney Gift Card purchase! Last year they offered it in January, anyone know if they typically offer this every year?

This was brought up after the interview with @SouthFayetteFan regarding best credit cards.
DISer @poofyo101 posted:
They are not planning on running the promo. Post #2672

I emailed the staff that was handling the sale last year. when asked about the 8% off promo
"I don’t expect any additional promos this year at all"

I would believe him based upon the response. Post #2676

Thanks, yeah I emailed them too and got no response. I wonder though both of those posts were saying no for "this year". I assume that means 2020? I wonder if they might run the sale again in 2021. I did a google search and it appears they ran this sale in October 2018 (8% off, $5000 minimum) and March 2019 (7.66% off, $5000 minimum) - so maybe they will run it one time in 2021? I sure hope so :)

BJ's did have bulk DGC on sale in 2020, it ran for the entire month of January 2020. Post

I believe the email was about 2021. It's a separate group who maintains bulk sales and they might not be working full time? When things calm down hopefully we'll see a new offer.

I emailed them twice and didn't get a response however I will say a fellow DISer tried sending me an email three or four times and I didn't receive any of them. Same can be said when my hubby tried emailing me, I never received it. Not sure why and I did check spam.

Yep, I bought a bunch of gift cards from the bulk order in January 2020 (thanks for that tip!) but I already used them all :-O

The quote was "I don’t expect any additional promos this year at all", maybe I'm interpreting it wrong, but since it was from 2020 (post was in Dec 2020, so maybe they mean 2021?) - I was thinking they meant we had one in 2020, no additional ones for 2020 - thinking optimistically, maybe that means there could still be one for 2021 :) - Crossing my fingers and hoping. I guess we will see!

Thanks for all you do with this thread! :)

I've got to come clean with you all, I lost my computer glasses on Tuesday!
We only went to three places; PetSmart, Target and our bank and they say they don't have it. I've been using my old pair, like from four years ago and it's a killer. I can post small things but a full blown post/update is too strenuous instead I'll chip away at it and post things I hope you find interesting and useful.

Foodtown: Buy $50 Select Gift Cards & Save $10
Includes: Dunkin’s Donuts, Happy Her, Happy Moments, Kohl’s, Nike, Sephora, Starbucks, Ulta Beauty
Limit 1 offer per household. Expires 2/18/21. GC Galore

Why Foodtown? This is a great offer. Meijer was offering $5 on $50. The Happy cards listed above include Bed Bath & Beyond and as @bbsearchlight
has posted many times is able to exchange it for a Disney GC. Going this route is YMMV as many here has posted this stopped working for them but each location is different.
Starbucks is a great offer because it can be used at WDW including during special events like MNSSHP & MVMCP on exclusive treats.

PetSmart: Buy $25 Gift Cards & Get $5 Bonus eGift Cards Free
Bonus eGift Cards Valid Feb 15-28
Expires 2/14/21. GC Galore

Rakuten1% - The terms no longer exclude the purchase of gift cards. YMMV
I'm not signed up with Topcashback so that might be another option Cashback Portals

Doggie Day Camp & Dog Training have opened back up in some locations.
