*UPDATED* DISDivas & Family October Mini Meet *UPDATED* (3.0 Version!)

I think ebay is risky for costumes. I like Target because they will let you return it (if it's well before Halloween and hasn't been worn - it gives you a chance to try it on before being stuck with it).

Mel, that Halloween store sounds great. I went in a Halloween superstore (not as nice as yours) yesterday and noticed great prices.

Callie- Bummer! But I understand!!

Donna, I've already looked at Macy's website, and all others I could think of. But I will keep on checking back. You never know. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Ooh I did it!! I made that costume last year for her, and she won first place at her High School:

Mel, they won't have it online - I guess you are not near a Macy's? With a coupon, which they do every weekend, you should be able to find something quite reasonable. I think the turtleneck is iconic to her costume. Another vote yes on sewing on the letters so you can easily remove them.

Have you guys decided on which Fantasmic showing you are getting tickets for? I am kicking it around again, but at the moment, it is more important for me to see the new fireworks Saturday night. I won't get another chance, so if I have to sit around and save spots for it at the Plaza Inn I will.

Now if you guys are going to the late showing of Fantasmic, then I might hang. Please please don't do anything based on me though. I just kind of want to know what you guys are thinking of.

Gracias chiquitas!!

Last I heard, Linda, Cheryl (and maybe others) wanted the early show because they could stay in the seats for the fireworks. Yes, you'll miss the flying character but the comfort of being seated and being served was the plus side. Have to find out if Dawn is doing it at all - I know she did not want the second show because she was worried her mother would get cold.

They were saying eat (lightly) with everyone at the restaurant picked on the first page, have one person go do the sign ups, then head over for the F!

I am also thinking the first show makes sense - we'll get the most out of our money this way.

When do we need to call for this?

Theresa, Jesse, Allyson and I are going to do the late F! I'm going to call tomorrow and get the tickets!!

Do we have a time/place yet for a group pic on Friday night? I know there was a lot of talk back and forth, but nothing set in stone....

We decided we were going to meet in the middle between the two parks. The time has not been decided yet. We can take some pics out there and meet up, then get in line, go through the gates, take a few more pics there in the front, then split up to do what we want to do.

Who wants to pick the time?

So true!

The costume store is not by me. It's up in Sacramento!! I wish it were by me!

I live about 45 minutes from a Macys. Not terrible, but not a hop and skip either!

Well I guess I will skip going with you guys then. Cuz I want to be right by the castle and the Matterhorn for the show.

OOOh..........I might try and go with you guys!! Are you going to try and do the fireworks before hand too?

YES! Tickets will be available starting tomorrow, for Saturday night.

If you want me to get yours, I can. I'm on Facebook right now, if you want to chat.

I think you can call starting at 8am.

Stacie, I am about read to hit the sack. Thanks anyways.

If you get them for me, do you have to buy them? Or just reserve? If it is just reserve then I will gladly take you up on the offer. If you have to pay, then I would feel bad.

I'm off to wash up, and I'll be right back to see your answer.

I would have to pay when I call, which definitely isn't a problem!! I would rather do that than have you miss out!!

You do have to buy them on the phone and pay then, no refunds. They open at 8.

OK then!! I think that would be nice. I think Kaitlyn would like it too, if Allyson was there. Thankyou!!

I'm getting really excited about this trip.

I have our party tickets bought, the costumes are starting to come along, and now I just need to buy park tickets for Kaitlyn from Costco!! :goodvibes
