Update on our BLT contract & closing

Still waiting... called & got the very unfriendly, unhelpful Tammy today.

I got Tammy today too but she was ok, but i was in the system so I guess she had nothing to be unfriendly about. I had posted that they were going to call me yesterday once I was loaded in, but no one called. At 11am though I got a call from the woman I spoke with yesterday and she appologized for not getting back to me and I told her I was too excited and already called for my member number. So far the customer support has been great for me even though I bought resale.
 
Tammy suggested I take my issues up w/ my broker. Seeing as how Rachel has been unresponsive (though I've only emailed her) since we closed, I emailed both Cammy at First American & Evy at Fidelity. Cammy got right back to me saying she'd contact Disney & get back to me w/ a status.

Congrats!!! I am hoping for a quick work-out for us too. Cammy said that Disney has verified payment & that it takes a few days for the transfer to be complete, that they were working on finishing it today. So she said she'd contact me as soon as she heard back from them today. Fingers continued to be crossed... Why am I reminded of the saying, "The hurrier I go, the behinder I get." ?! lol

So happy for you! I feel so relaxed now knowing the process is over and I got the reservation I needed. I'm sure you will too tomorrow. So it was Tammy vs Cammy over at member admin today. Lol

Thanks! I'm am totally understanding that sense of relaxation - I'm sure I'll get there once I know we're booked. Tomorrow is a busy day for me & I'm thinking I'm going to be making calls while I'm on the road. lol Or maybe I'll skip out on my fitness class (starts at 915 & Member Services doesn't open until 9, correct?) & just get it all taken care of. That'll make me feel better than an hour of Zumba anyway! lol
 
I vote skip Zumba, call MS get your reservation, then dance around the house like you are at zumba class that the process is over!
 
Well I spoke to Amber this morning who was helpful, but I needed to leave a message for the people that enter the contacts. Hopefully they will call me back today and I can get an update. At least I didn't have to talk to Tammy this time. :banana:
 
First I called & spoke w/ May in Member Services, who told me I needed my member ID, so she transferred me to Member Admin... while being transferred, I said a little prayer to get someone other than Tammy & was rewarded with Amber, who was very friendly & most helpful. She then transferred me back to MS, where I spoke w/ Christine. She was very friendly, very helpful & took VERY good care of me. When I got the online account situation settled, I then asked about getting the points loaded ASAP. She told me they were already there & that she could help me book!

I am so excited - dh & I are booked in a 1 br. villa at SS! Debating going to waitlist BLT, our home resort.

And PrincessCinderella, I know now exactly the sense of relaxation you described!!!

Oh Tammy, How I won't miss you when my contract is finally loaded.... :rotfl2:

Just as an FYI to all who've had the same issues w/ Tammy, I sent an email to DVC Guest Service extolling the virtues of Kevin, Amber & Christine (Member Services) for their help in getting our contract transferred & up/running & expressing my displeasure with the aforementioned Tammy for her unfriendliness & lack of helpfulness.
 
Oh Boy what a day, I spoke with Tammy this morning :confused3 who said my contract wasn't transferred yet in her typical rude self, I was just about to call again this afternoon to take my chances, and I got a call from my broker, she was calling to let me know she called her contact at Disney to get the contract loaded ASAP because apparently the people I purchased the DVC from have a very sick person in their family, they needed the money ASAP to pay off medical bills, and TTM would not release the money until the contact actually transferred to my name so my I am in as of today. I feel so horrible about this person and wish them the best and to get healthy soon...
 
Wow... what a way to get loaded in more quickly... I hope the sick one is better soon.
