Update on BuzzLight ride?

The last I heard, the Buzzlight ride was to reopen on Feb. 6. Has anyone heard any more? Thanks.

Last I heard was February 8. Hoping it gets done end of this month by some miracle. I LOVE that ride.

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin will be closed for refurbishment January 4 through Wednesday, February 8, 2006.

That is for January. If you go ahead & switch to Feb, you will get:

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin: Closed for Refurbishment [February 1, 2006 to February 8, 2006]

hopefully they're cleaning it up (fresh paint or replacement cars)... this ride sure gets beat up a bit...

better yet, i wish they'd change it to the Disneyland style Astroblaster "guns"...

where they are very mobile, only attached to the car by a retractable cord rather than directly attached to the car. (on the down side, the DL Buzz ride's trigger has to be pulled each time to fire, not like WDW where you can just hold down the trigger the whole time and away it blinks blinks blinks blinks...)

This is DH's favorite ride! We go on it a million times...and we have no kids!

Are they changing anything on it?
