NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

I purchased one $200 and one $50 digital Disney gift card October 25, and the $25 cash back credit on my Amex tracked October 26. I don't remember there being any specific language excluding gift cards on my offer at that time.
They pretty much always state it excludes gift cards but then it also seems to pretty much always trigger the offer as long as the merchants name is correct on the charge. The issue with what the PP is trying to do is purchase cards that according to datapoints don’t code as Best Buy. Similar things happen with Kroger. Kroger has sales all the time but they code as Blackhawk when purchasing GC online meaning no extra grocery points or triggering Chase offers.

I’m not sure this is just what others have reported. To be safe I would just do the Marriott one
I bit the bullet and purchased one $250 Bonvoy GC w $30 BB E-Gift bonus included. Both cards arrived in my email right away.

Right now, pending Amex charge of $250 is coding as BestBuy.com, which should trigger Amex offer. Stacked with 5% through Shopback. Crossing my fingers everything pays out! Worst case scenario, I have a $30 bonus to Best Buy which I'll use on Pokemon cards for DS 🤩.

There was language, I believe, but I bought a $250 dgc in Oct and was credited $25 2 days later regardless. :)

Does anyone know- Can you just buy 1 $500 DGC and get the $50 in rewards? Thanks.
Yes, this usually works for these situations. I'm still debating whether I take advantage of it this time, but, I've gotten similar deals in the past, and it'll apply. GCs do not appear to be excluded from it.

Someone on DoC commented the Chase Paze offer could trigger a 1099 MISC and the details on the offer appear to say that’s possible. Just FYI, for most this won’t change anything but for some it might matter. Good news is the threshold for 1099s goes up mañana! Bad news is some outfits will issue 1099s even under the mandated reporting threshold and Chase’s 1099 issuing is- well it’s weird. They’re hard to predict and have had to issue corrections multiple times.

Interesting considering it is essentially a rebate. I guess we will see!!

Happy New Year everyone.

Those with Chase cards make sure to head over to Chase Dot Com / mybonus

This usually works on Co Branded cards (Disney, Hyatt, SW etc) but I have been able to get it to work on a Freedom and Sapphire in the past.

My United card was the only one that worked.
The offer I received was for 5x on Groceries, Gas and Restaurants up to $1,000 spend for the quarter.

I've never been able to get it to work on my Disney, Sapphire or Bonvoy cards.

Citi ThankYou (old SYW) peeps- new GGR offer for the year via email this morning, $80/$1k or $160/$2k every month in 2026. There are some slight variations on the amounts but this is the most common, not everyone got it but fairly widely offered. Same one as a couple folks got via snail mail a couple days ago.

Kinda bummed for the 8% instead of the 10% of last year but still glad to see it. And we earn TYP on it! (I don't do anything interesting with TYP right now that gives them more than 1cpp but I'm going to have to look into it as if I keep up spend on this thing I'll end up with a little stash!)

And once again bupkis on all 4 cards. 2 Disney and 2 United. I never seems to ever have any of these.

DH and I both got this offer as well. With the SYW I spent mostly at Walmart, so I'm hoping that still codes as grocery for this offer

My wife and I both both got $60/$600 or $120/$1200 so same 10% as normal.

Update: Good news, the Amex offer did pay out! $25 CB on purchase of $250 in Marriott GCs from BestBuy.com, that dovetailed with Best Buy's promo of $30 GC with purchase of $250 Marriott card.
