yeeeeeeeeees much better...thanks...I know ive been mia and ok im not a traitor here but Im trying to read a 182 page thread before they close it on the disney cruise line side...its about the door magnets and there is SO much information about programs, what supplies to use, just making me down right crazy but I want to go through them so I can save any of the posts that I need and pics and such...

Sounds like you're preparing for your cruise already, wow! What are the door magnets? Are they like those realtor business card things we get in the mail, magnetic backing so they'll go right on the fridge?

Those can't be too hard to make; basically color print your graphics, and I bet you could even take that straight to Kinko's to get all the rest done (laminating, magnetic backing, cutting into whatever size.) Unless you want to get fancy, which if Andrea's a scrapbooker, might be the case.

When we went for Chrsitmas in 2005 to WDW, I made a door wreath. I started with the good ole greenery, and added lime green, kelly green and red Home Depot Mickey Head paint chips. Some of the chips I covered with glitter and puff paint. I also added some little ball ornaments, and a big bow on top. I then put my screen name on one of the Mickey heads. But I don't think anyone ever saw it fron the DIS. But you know what? That was OK, cuz I had fun decorating it, and our room!

They're not getting rid of old threads, right? Just closing them so you post at the new thread? And you can still access the old thread via a link in the first post of the new thread?

Just wondering why you guys are talking about losing the info...

well yeah they attempt to close them but then something happens and poof its gone ...even if I have them in my sub list they go away...so im not taking any chances on this one

I can't read the text, but it looks similar to the t-shirts people make for their trips, indicating dates, location and who is there, like:

I think your stuff should have a Christmas theme, of course. (Didn't you say you're going over Christmas? Or close to Christmas?) There are so many cute Disney holiday graphics! Have you looked at the t-shirt thread under Creative DISigns, I think it's called? Wonderful stuff there, and the gals who do the designs are so helpful in personalizing the stuff for others.

Do you mean you have to log in on the DIS (enter your username and password) each time? That just means your user information isn't saved on the computer you're using.

oh thats a definite...no i havent been over there yet! im taking one thread at a time....one of the things we want to do is the ears like you saw in the pic but no one has put a santa hat over the top which is what we are going to do ...make some ornaments and I have clipart but its all of mickey so Im just going to have to pick a couple of ones I really like alot and go with it...I want to do one for castaway cay and one for palo when we go and one for pirate party...so we can interchange them as they occur...

Weird! I know that when I erase cookies from the machine, it wipes out that stored ID & password info, and I have to enter it the first time I log in. Do you have software in place to prevent the site from storing cookies?

Although that wouldn't explain why you'd have to re-enter the info each time you want to post if you haven't logged out yet...

Well I told you about my helping make costumes for Alladin. Well Tuesday, I bought enough costume satin to make about 25 genie pants in all different colors. The girls will have leotards underneath,and the guys get vests.
All will be trimmed in sequins and such. I still need to buy the fabric for the veils. That is just for one of the big songs, "A Friend Like Me." Alladin and Jasmine each need about 3 costume changes. Then there are the guards, attendents, the 3 princes, harem girls and so on. Then the song "Prince Ali" gets a full cast too. But I'm not sure how much we will change that up. Hopefully reversing vests and different scarves and such will help. I think we are buying the Sultan's and Jafars costume. Genie not sure yet? It's going to be fun and exausting at the same time.
