Hey! We got our RAV4 today! Looooove the new car smell!

Oh No! Alex is high on plastic fumes tonight!!! Congrats, I think it's road trip time.

I know! We had to drive to Tacoma to get it (about 1 hr. 15 mins. - 1 hr. 30 mins. away) We traded in our '97 Honda Accord for it, and the guy at the dealer treated us well. He knew how badly we wanted the vehicle and could have hung us out, but didn't. He also said they pride themselves on getting an excellent rating for customer service and would do everything in his power to keep that. The finance person also was very good, presented all the options and add-ons, and when we said no thanks, there was no further sell, she just drew up all the paperwork and we were on our way. Awesome dealing with them! DH said he'd happily drive that far again to deal with them. They actually treat people like intelligent human beings.

That's always nice when you find a good dealership. Makes buying a car so much better. We have a particular dealership down here that we've gone to several times.

What's up Alison?

Not much. Just spent much of the day loading software onto the new computer. Had to hook up the printer, photo printer, get XP Service Pack2 downloads, Adobe, load our camera software, etc... Not a quick task on dial up service.

Weather was nice here today, so I took DS & my nephews on a bike ride. That was fun. I sure like my new bicycle, but I think I need a bigger basket so I can take more snacks along.
