Hi everyone!!! I am alive and well.

Well finally got our computer back by Friday, and by the time I had time to hook it up, it was like 11.00pm that night. Had to be up by 4:30am to go down south for a family gathering on Sat., and the Pomona Swap Meet on Sunday. We just barely got home. I'm tired!

Anyways, how is everyone?? What juicey tidbits have I missed this last 2 weeks??

Grumpy, thanks for the pretties! "Tomorrow is another day", as Scarlett O'Hara would say, and I will try and get some up then.

Pix, did you go on your cruise??

Megan, I need to talk to you about the ladies trip. My sis wants to go now too. So I might just be rooming with her. I don't know yet. I did really want to go with you too. Hopefully Alison needs a roomie?

Just tucked DS into bed. His room looks so nice. Yesterday afternoon we spent 4 hours completely cleaning and rearranging it. Now all I have to do is keep my nephews out of it. They always trash his room when they come over.

DD decided to redo her room today also. So we got her some new organizer bins for her closet at Lowes. I'm doing my darndest to turn them into obsessive compulsive neat freaks like me!

MELODY!!!!! I have missed you!!!! Thats no problem! We have... I think 5 of us that wants to go. So if your sis comes, it just evens out our group! I thought we would try to fit into 2 rooms... This way we can do 3, if you and your sis want to stay at the CCI... and assuming that everyone else does.

I love it when we go through and clean the kids room... But I really think it only lasts a few minutes til it is a wreck again!!!

Well hello strange lady!

We likey passed you on our way home today.

We went to the Famer's Market on Fairfax-- it was a blast!

What cool things happen at the Pomona swap meet.. anything good to buy?? We noticed a swap meet as we headed back to the highway-- I mean when we were lost and tried to find a place to turn around.. and we kinda saw it as we whizzed by..and then began laughing at a store titled "Out of the Closet Thrift", it had guy manniquins with feather boas on them


I seriously need to go buy a GPS

Yep! That's why I have to work outside the home, because I would drive my poor family crazy if I was a SAHM. I find it impossible to stay home for a vacation and just relax, that's why we always have to go somewhere. If I'm home more than a couple of days I start making lists and cleaning closets and stuff. My mom was a neat freak also, so I must have inherited that gene! My sister on the other hand has a wonderfully "lived in" house. She got the let's go have fun, to heck with the housework gene! My brother and his wife are the same way also. Everytime I go to their house I want to vacuum and start folding clothes. That's why I'm such a good accountant I love organizing things!

I used to love going to the swap meet with my grandpa every summer. They were so much fun. When I went to visit my sister we went to one of the largest swap meets in the world down by Ft. Lauderdale. We were there for several hours and still didn't see everything. It was awesome.

Bah... my house is a wreck!! There are toys everywhere... and well, just stuff everywhere! I hate to clean, and it shows! At least there isnt garbage everywhere. Its just a bunch of stuff.

Sure!

I recently organized my part of the closet. I still need to finish that. At least I organized my purses and such so now it's much neater.

My closet is organized by color - shirts are white, yellow, pink, orange, red, gray, blue, brown, black. Followed by skirts, then dresses, and coats.

DH only wears jeans so I organized his shirts by type: coats, short sleeve, t shirts, tank tops, dress shirts. I did the same for DS.

DD I have noticed organizes hers by color just like me. She just doesn't realize she's turning into me!! How many 15yo girls do you know that have a spotless bedroom?

Of course last weekend I reorganized the kitchen. I was trying to get a better flow through the kitchen. It seems like we always end up bunched up in one spot. DH said I did a good job, now we aren't bunched up....everyone is just wandering around trying to find things!!
