So they're showing clips of store robberies that took place at 9 places locally over the past 9 days, and police suspect it's the same guy in all the robberies. He is getting bolder, going in broad daylight and waving a gun around. Police say he's "escalating" and they're worried someone will get hurt soon if they can't catch him quickly.

Why am I mentioning this? The latest robbery was practically in my neighborhood! They were showing clips, including businesses around the robbed shop, and I recognized them. They're right across the street from the grocery store that's within walking distance of our house! :scared1:

Uff, I'm getting a headache, and it's bedtime. Think I'll call it a night and take something in hopes the headache will go away by morning.

Good night! :cloud9:

Morning little butterballs.

I had a "ah- ha" moment yesterday, I need to figure out what we are eating for Thanksgiving.. and if we are getting a turkey I better buy it soon  nothing like a frozen rock hard turkey to throw dinner plans out of whack.

I used Super Target printable coupons and got $50 of stuff for $20.. I'm well stocked in pickles, stove top stuffing, sourcream, butter spread, cheetos and little debbie's oatmeal creme pies. Picked up celery (freebie!), bananas (52¢ for 2 lbs), broccoli and cauliflower (decent prices, need them for dipping in my cheap hummus dip-- mmmmm).
I sent a bunch of stuff with N for a food drive (if he brought 20 items that he doesn't need to test out on running the mile this grading period), I can use the extras I just bought if J or hubby has another food drive before Christmas.

Alison should go to Jackson Hole.. it's gorgeous!

I went as a child , part of a summer long journey (using a camper) thru the Dakotas with a side trip to Jackson Hole.

Out of all the places we visited, Jackson Hole was the most memorable for me.
Stagecoach ride, antler arches over each corner of the town square, art museum, river ride in a raft (not the wild version, it was a scenic ride .. I fell asleep in the bottom of the raft), in the summer they do a whole reenactment of a shoot out-- impressed my 5th grade self.

Granted you won't be able to do all of those things on your trip.. but I do remember it being oh so very pretty there.

At least it's something to consider in the summertime. :goodvibes

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

cute!

We never eat the whole turkey, might be better to buy a breast. Less leftovers to store in my not quite big enough fridge. The sucky part.. it will cost more to just buy the breast than a whole turkey. :sad2:

I love the Friends episode when they are talking about their worst Thanksgiving experience. :teeth: I also like the episode where Joey got a turkey stuck on his head! :rotfl:

My family never finishes the turkey either. When I was little my mom used to make us leftover turkey sandwiches to bring to school. I remember lifting the bread and saying: "Turkey Again???" :faint: lol!

Rachael Ray's magazine website has recipes for leftover turkey.
