your too funny....you will bake from scratch which is just about the same or more trouble than making stuffing from scratch but you want minimal fuss???:rotfl2: I do love the stove top stuffing its not that...its just on thanksgiving I love to have homemade stuffing...I NEVER stuff the bird...I cook it separate and it makes so much more than just the box of stove top kwim?

But the process of making homemade stuffing brings back these horrible childhood memories.

My dad was in charge of stuffing, some years it was good.. other years.. wayyyyyyyyy too salty- blehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I was in charge of peeling onions, removing the guts from the bird and generally being my dad's gopher. It's the one time a year he did anything beyond sit on his butt and watch TV.

yeah, not too fond of the man.
I do my twice a year visit (down to once a yr with the move) and that is just plenty. ;)

Okay... now tell me that my freaking apartment manager cant raise my damn rent with out even telling me?:confused3

GEESH! Did you see the ending? Or should I say "endings"? and then  !!!

Sooooo, I've been wondering...

If G is the Official Hyena Pumpkin Poster, what am I? The Official Hyena Narcolepsy Rep? :rotfl2:

huh???

Depends on what your lease says. Most leases say they need to give you advance warning of 60 days.

Do you pay month-to-month, or is it based on a yearly contract?
I think with the contract they can't raise the rent until the contract expires, and they have to inform you of the new amount when you go in to sign the new contract. If it's month-to-month (no contract), I'm not sure how they're supposed to notify you, but I would think it would have to be more notice than a week or two! :scared1:

my apartment manger just came to the door and told me that we had a balance due of $30 because we havent been paying our full amount. We have been paying $10. to little for the past three months. Now... its only $30. but still.. They raised the rent without even telling us? I DONT FREAKING THINK SO!!!

Our lease expired in October... Thats another thing, If we were still on lease in Sept. they cant even raise the lease at all!!!!

yeah you're right alex... I'm on a month to month and when the owners raise the rent they send me a letter the month before it changes to let me know...

That's weird...$10 increase sounds like an odd amount. Typical increase is usually higher than just a measely $10, maybe they started charging a fee for using checks? parking? garage rent?

Sounds odd to me, time to dig up the lease.

And why would they not tell you right away , instead of waiting for 3 months??

What a mammary gland!

Why not tell you when you pay the rent? Or the first time you fell short, send a notice, instead of 3 MONTHS LATER? Or what the heck, send one BEFOREHAND??? Stupidity annoys me no end!

I was so pissed, dh came out of the bedroom to see what was going on, and I just started bawling!!! I know that $30. is not anything to get get all upset about, and the extra $10. per month is no big deal, But just to not bother to tell me?:confused3  Yeah, THAT pisses me the heck right off. Our head manager hasnt been here for months, and they just fired the girl that was doing it, So poor Tessa has no idea what the hell is going on either....

AND MY STUPID HUSBAND IS STANDING OVER ME BEATING ON THE DAMN KEYBOARD!!!!!!
