will they have the holiday fireworks?? too lazy to look.
Hola!! Yes they will!!

You can report back to us. Also about how the castle looks. :woohoo:

Hey I just got a call from DLR, about my upcoming trip. Wanted to know if I would like to order a tree for our room. Umm.....how much are they? $200.00 and something. After she said 200.00, my brain filtered out the rest. :sad2: I do know she said lighted and decorated. So how much are the stockings? $80.00 something, filled with all kinds of Disney stuff. Well I told her I'd think about everything. I wonder what kind of Disney stuff, and how much you realy get for $80.00? But then she asked me if she could help with anything else, like dining ressies or whatever. I had been putting that off, so I did get some ressies at the BB for Sat night. :woohoo:

Megan, did you get a call?

MAN, you guys are so lucky to live so close and be able to drop in for a day! I'm so jealous!!!

They had the fiberglass snow and the LED lights on the castle last weekend, but they didn't have it lit up. It's pretty even during the daytime.

So, any of you have any great financial advice out there (besides I should spring for the ladies only trip???) I am happy the house is sold, but now I am stressing about what to do with the cash???

Just pretend you don't have it. Put it away. Don't spend it. One can never have too much cash!

I've been contemplating doing something fun over Christmas break. My family refuses to go anywhere other than home for Christmas Eve & Christmas. But they will let us leave the day after. DH doesn't want to fly. So here is what I have narrowed it down to:

Jackson Hole, WY - we own a hotel there (free lodging). Could go snow shoeing, skiing, snowmobiling or ride to Yellowstone in a snowcoach, sleigh rides, dog sled rides to hot springs pool.....13 hour drive. But my boss said we could stop and stay a night or two at his McMansion in Sun Valley (9 hour drive). We've never been there. Weather could be a problem driving, but we don't lose any money if we cancel.

Reno, NV - stepdad is there. Lots of fun things to do. I love shopping at the JC Penney outlet store. 13 hour drive, but can stop halfway & stay at our hotel in Klamath Falls for free. Weather can be a problem. But lots of good food, Circus Circus & Boomtown for the kids.

Victoria, BC - Can stay at our hotel in Port Angeles for free and take the ferry across. Haven't been there since I was a teen. Kinda iffy on this one. Don't know if there would be much "fun" stuff for the kids.

Seattle - 2.5 hour drive. Lots of fun stuff to do. Did I mention short drive! Could stay at nice hotel with fun pool! Might even be able to meet up with Alex!

Kahneetah - Warm Springs, OR indian reservation. Giant outdoor hot springs mineral pool. Haven't been there since I was a kid.

So Hyena's cast your vote! Where should I convince my family to go??

Hi Alison!!

You missed the poop party last night!

I knew something was going on, I sensed it!:lmao: I was having trouble falling asleep and I almost got up and turned the computer on. It was like it was calling me, but I resisted the temptation.

However, one of the new kitties got locked in the bathroom this morning and I did have a little brown mess to clean up! So not all was lost!

How are you doing Tinkermell??

I don't know how much we're talking about, of course, but we have a financial planner. We talk over all large money items or changes in our financial situation with him.

With DH's raise last year and a big bonus, we talked it over with the financial planner to figure out how to best put the money to work for us. There are lots of options we could have done, but we wanted to use some for vacation, some for a home fix-it project, and invest the rest. He helped us do just that. :)

Hey Alex! What's up?? Amazing I should mention brown stuff and you show up!:lmao:

Ummmmmm ALL of them!!:woohoo:

Ummmmmm ALL of them!!:woohoo:

Hmmm...guess we could just throw a Christmas tree on the luggage rack on top. Put in sleeping bags and drive for 2 weeks!:lmao:

I'm leaning towards Jackson Hole because it sounds like the most fun. But I'm also leaning towards Seattle because it's so close and no long drive.

Hmmmm, let me think about this... :scratchin

Seattle!!! :woohoo: :rotfl:

I just imagine the Iditarod Sled Dog ride in the rain wouldn't be quite the same as in Jackson Hole!:rotfl2: Although I do think it would be fun to take the Duck Tour.

Well, time to close the office down and head home. Everyone have a good evening and I'll probably talk to you all later on.
