no no You lived in a desert, our neighbors live in a desert, we live in a tropical oasis transplanted from the florida keys!:lmao:

Very true, I stand corrected. I think stepping into your backyard is the closest I will ever come to a tropical rainforest!!! :lmao:

alex, I like the shirt and I agree with everyone else that its a strange thing youve got there. strange indeed.

well ya know how fire produces its own weather, well so does our yard! Rains 245 days of the year here. :rotfl2:

Speaking of loosing focus, I got Alex's report card today.. Yeah, he needs to focus at school. He talks to much, and has trouble staying on task.. Remind you of anyone? Oh yeah, just like good ole mom!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Yeah, I'm helping out in DS7's classroom one morning a week. She says she noticed one day that DS7 was the only kid in class who wasn't working on the worksheet she'd passed around, he was watching the other kids do theirs and chatting with them. (They apparently can chat AND work...) He'd been complaining that there wasn't enough time in class to complete his work, so she suggested that he get started right away to maximize his time... :lmao:

I love the way she says things, it's so politically correct! Not "if you'd sit down and shut up and get started, you'd have plenty of time!" but you know darn well that's what she means. :rotfl2:

OOPS! Gotta run and get the little booger. C YA!

As much as this little exchange has been the highlight of my life I must get ready to get Morgan and head to dance. Such is my life.

So I emailed my mom and told her I found a t-shirt in a catalog that I thought my brother would really like:
homeland+security+tee+natural.do

She emailed me back and said she'd already ordered it for him yesterday!

(Cue the Twilight Zone music and Rod Serling!)

That not so weird, it just means that...

wait for it.........

You and your mother are alike!!!........:scared1:

 :cool1:  :cool1:  :cool1:
Du da dunnnnnnnnnnnn:rolleyes1

Have you guys ever tried the frozen meatballs from Trader Joe's? I think they're pre-cooked, I used to use them in my spaghetti sauce, and it was sooo yummy! Can't now because of DH's diet, but GOSH they were good! :thumbsup2

I made meatballs awhile back. I should say I rolled the meat into little balls and cooked them, but they were just bland because I hadn't spiced them at all. All I usually do with the ground meat is garlic powder and dried onions, what else do you put in a meatball?

Wheat bread crumbs, egg whites, onion and garlic powder, parsley, oregano, hmm, can't remember what else...

Ok - try to get ready without using water though. I failed to mention that was one of the reasons we moved - Show Low has its own water supply :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Back from lunch...but leaving work at 2:30pm today. I have to go with DBF to the doctor. (funny, he never goes with me)

ohhhhhhh Star Gate (movie) is on right now, got cable Staley? It's on USA

;)

ok, laundry machine hog lady was in there when I did my switch, she was scoping out my dryers  Quickly switched them out (they weren't done spinning but they were dry), she plunks her butt down and studies me as I fold my clothes-- creeeeeeeeepppppy!! Plugged more quarters in my two dryers to keep them going and sped out of there as fast as I could. Two more to dry, guess I will keep a closer eye ont hem so she doesn't bogart my dryers away form me. I need my laundry down by 4 pm .. gonna pick up a game today for the boys :cool1:
