Can you change my dates? We decided to go down a day early and stay one night at POP before heading to CBR on the 10th. Airfare was 350.00 cheaper for us to go a day early.

Ressie's for Boma are for 7:20pm. We will have a group of either six or eight. We always arrive at least 45min before our dinner time and the kids go look at the animals while the adults go to that great bar overlooking Boma for an adult beverage. What time will you be there? We will have the kids with us as built in babysitters! Girls are 16, 12 and 11 and one boy 12. Come have a drink with us!

edit - maybe the kids could hang out. Similar ages.

I did see that. I would love to try, but will see how the rest of my group feels. It's hard to get everyone to agree, especially since I'm the only one addicted to the Disboards. If I don't make it to join you, have fun!

We have reservations at 6:20! I think the kids would like that...we should set something up as the time gets closer.

You guys were chatty yesterday, I had a busy day myself just not here on the DIS, Dr's Appt, shopping and had a 24 hour stomach virus which had me visiting the lil girl's room more than I cared to

OMG!!! I was just able to snag an ADR for 6 people at Le Cellier for lunch on March 5th!!

I've been checking daily for over a month now and it finally happened!! I've now cancelled my 12:45pm ADR for 4 people. Woohoo!!

Added your ADR's to the list includeing the possible one at Yak & Yeti. Before we decided to skip AK this trip , we had planned on lunch at Y&Y DH wanted to try the Kobe Burger which we have read is very good.

This is starting to become a monthly thing for her. She has a mitochondrial disease that really effects her gut and other organs, but her gut takes the biggest hit. She is completely impacted so we needed to get her cleaned out. She is also going to have a colonscopy today to check her colon. Chances are we will need to go out of state for testing on her colon, but we can at least do the "little" things here.

Hopefully we will be out today if not tomorrow for sure!!

Oh bless her heart! I hope they can find a treatment that will help her through this. (I'm not sure what mitochondrial disease is, but the word disease alone makes it not good.) Prayers are being sent your way.



Sheila, I hope you're feeling better, too! I got hit by something (granted, I think it was something I ate) ... and its never fun when you're keeping a pail handy or running off to the restroom praying there isn't someone using it already.

We ate there for lunch last year and totally recommend it! Sure, it's similar to a local hibachi grill ... but compared to the ones we have, the chef was more playful and interactive (and nice!). We'd love to go back, so if you're looking for a recommendation, you have one from me. But as far as food quality and taste goes, there wasn't much difference. It was fresher than our local place, but not by much as far as food standards go.

Your added to the list of March travelers and all your ADR's are recorded too. I have never eaten at Teppan Edo myself but I have read lots of good reviews of it.

I've never eaten dinner at AK. We always schedule something for DTD on that night (we usually stay late and schedule a later dinner). So if you're in the same boat as me, a hop to EP would be preferable for yummy food! (We don't hop, so we go to DTD instead.)

I can't vouch for any of the dining at AK ... we've only had FlameTree. We'll be trying a Tusker House lunch this year (to see Donald).
