United Airlines

Ok, we are in a very small town that is only serviced by 1 airline..has been Northwest forever.. In the last month the service provider has changed to United. Please tell me the good, the bad and the Ugly about dealing with United...

They're about as good/bad as any of the airlines if you ask me. We've flown both NW and United and prefer NW, just because of their flight schedules from where we depart. United is notorious for changing flight times so keep checking your reservation.

I used to work for united airlines and I can tell you that united has no problem canceling or delaying flights with smaller airplanes for stupid reasons. Also if you have a stop make sure you have enough time for your bags to switch planes. I worked baggage services for a year and I can't tell you how many bags were missing for days and sometimes they would show up in different cities entirely. I've never flown on United myself for these reasons.
