I was hoping to find it on you tube, but not there.
Very profound.Beautiful, amazing words spoken from the heart broken relatives of those killed. I am in awe of their ability to forgive. May their faith continue to protect their hearts from bitterness and hate.

We do need to forgive. It was amazing to watch the hearing.Very profound.
They are an amazing group of people. May we all learn from them.
"We have no room for hate so we have to forgive."
Wow.
Sending out prayers to all of you.I am in Charleston. The amount of support in the community is amazing. We have come together in a way that is the polar opposite of what the murderer wanted. Personally, I want to spend more time reading about the victims and their families versus giving any more airplay to their murderer.
While Charleston was a key city in the Civil War and does have darkness in its history, she is also known as a place where all people try to come together. Our city and our leaders have made every effort to embrace either other. And if he wanted to start a racial war here, well, he picked the wrong city.

I just that too..... Omg these good people have lost so much and are telling him that they forgive him.
Its so awful that this animal did this to good innocent people, who welcomed him into their church with open arms. He is a racist pig who will burn in hell. He is not insane is he pure evil.
He was quoted as saying that he was headed to Nashville because he had never been there. No other reason given.I went to bed Tuesday and heard this and thought who the heck would go into a church and shoot people? Church is one of the last places you would think this would happen at. Flash-Forward to yesterday morning....
This hit all too close to hope for me...
Shelby, NC is less than 30 minutes from me and I couldn't believe he found his way to NC. As you heard the stories rolling in here about the Florist from Kings Mountain, who followed him, she's a hero in my opinion. I would love to know why he was coming to NC, makes you wonder if it was to do more killings. But in NC you heard all the breaking news and things came out locally today in the paper. The guy was spotted 5 minutes from where I am right now and I was out walking during that time. It all struck too close for me, and makes you wonder what is going on in people's heads.
I am originally from Ohio, but since I moved to the south, racism is very much a reality down here still especially at the NC border and SC. They do have the death penalty in SC, but WISH so badly we had eye for an eye to punish him that same way. I laughed at him having a bond hearing too, I was like you have to be kidding me!
Welcome to the South. Just read that the presiding judge is a racist who had used the n-word in court and wants everyone to sympathize with the shooter's family. Here's the link... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-revealed-reprimanded-using-n-word-court.htmlAfter all the caring words by state officials, there is this.

In one of the articles from the link I posted above, his sister was supposed to get married this Sunday and his future brother-in-law lived about a mile and a half from where he was caught. Coincidence? I don't know. Perhaps he was familiar with the area. Maybe he thought he'd find his sister there?I went to bed Tuesday and heard this and thought who the heck would go into a church and shoot people? That flag stands for more than one thing I have been reminded, but most see it for another reason. After all the caring words by state officials, there is this.
