I don't disagree. Onsite guests DO get those perks. As they should, as they are "resort" perks. Extra time on property, free transportation to the airport, dining plan...these are all *resort* perks. Staying at a Disney resort does not, however, automatically grant you access to the parks. You need to buy a separate park admission for that. That park admission costs the same for everyone, regardless of the hotel they stay at. Therefore, that admission should provide the same access to attractions for *all* guests. And thankfully, it will once FP+ is out of testing. Lol..and again the accusation is entitlement and if you don't like it, you're going to be miserable at disney etc. It *is* possible to have concerns about FP+ and still have an amazing trip at Disney. I know, b/c I had a fantastic time at Disney earlier this month. I didn't think about any of the DIS threads at all while I was there. That said, my experience also did nothing to assuage my concerns about FP+. That doesn't mean my trip was miserable![]()
I understand your point but when Universal charged for this privilege (if you weren't staying with them) I paid for this perk. I considered it worth the additional price and I had no problem paying for it. People are complaining about crowds and return times and lines, well this would significantly cut down on all of that.
As far as rude entitled people, you are right; they are in the parks. But I ignore those people best I can and when I can't I kill em with kindness and put on my happy Disney smile.
