I've been looking over the various Disney resorts available to DVC members and the different things offered at each...I've noticed a few have "Unbirthday Party" listed. Can anyone tell me about this or where I might find more information?

Thanks!

I don't know where to find more info other than in the usual places (AllEarsNet.com, Mouseplanet, etc...). Do you remember the Tea Party in Alice in Wonderland. The Mad Hatter threw an "unbirthday party". It is based on the idea that there are 364 "unbirthdays" in the year and only one birthday. Why not celebrate the unbirthdays since there are so many of them?

I know they do the Unbirthday Parties at various locations and usually do something with it if the Mad Hatter and Alice are around.

I suspected that it was something to do with the Unbirthday party from Alice...just didn't know any specifics. Thanks! I will check the usual places that you suggested!

My ds went to the unbirthday party at Vero last June and loved it! It's basically a big birthday party (but UN-birthday since it's not your birthday lol) for the kids with cup cakes, games like musical chairs and such and candy - just like a party you'd through for your child at home only for around 30 kids and at Disney lol. Birthday Paper table cloth and streamers and balloons. My ds is 4 and a half and had a ball.

They only offer the unbirthday party at OKW and VB I believe but it's alot of fun for the little ones.

HTH's

The un-birthday party at HHI is geared towards the under-7 crowd and had an Eyeore theme. I can recall the kids eating cupcakes without using their hands - i.e. smashing their faces into plates of cupcakes - and absolutely loving it! Good way to kill an hour out of the afternoon sun.

RATS! If the Unbirthday party is geared for the little tikes that will leave us out...DS will be 13 on our next trip and even though DH and I qualify for "kid" status I don't think Disney will allow it...ah, I guess I'll have to look into borrowing my great nieces and nephews! On second thought...nope! I don't know how they'd do without their moms and dads...

Thanks again!
