I was having a quick look at the train times, and there's one that arrives around 2.30pm, which would work out great to meet my roomie at the station too (and it would be good for your arrival too Tam)

I'll run the times passed Nat when she's back over the weekend, and I'm sure we'll let you know soon

I would imagine we will try and leave Cardiff around 10am/11am

Hello girls

Yes Im still here, I havent dropped off the end of a cliff just yet. Well after 2 months looks like my phone line might be somewhat fixed, so I might be able to stay on a bit longer. I have been tearing my hair out as no sooner would I log on and they phone line would have a disruption and knock me off again. I now have a shiney new pole out the lane and hopefully full conection. (Shh! dont want to say it too loud, just incase).

All is well here, Vicki passed her A Levels with a Distinction and 2 merits with one more to come in August, so far she has now got 3 A Levels and has decided to stay on in College and do a Media Foundation Course so that she can pretty much have her pick of Uni's next year. Im really pleased and proud of her, she has done so well and worked so hard for it. She has her driving test on the 31st July, so we are now keeping everything crossed for that, and its her 18th birthday in August, and her dad and I are taking her out together, first time in 12 years just the 3 of us

Not great news on the health front as I have to go back and have more tests on my heart on August 7th, but Im trying not to worry too much about it until I know the full results.

So now I think I have brought you all up to date with me, onwards and upwards to Sept. Great news that some of you have booked your train tickets, Im off from work the last week of July and will be going to all the dining venues to book. I will probably need to pay a deposit for all of them, so if its ok with you, I will let you know the total amount of depoists for all of them and if you dont mind sending me a cheque for your deposits that would be great. I will let you know more details the end of the month.

I think I have a pretty good idea of who is eating at all the dining venues, but will go through this thread in more detail later to have a proper catch up.

Dont forget any body who is arriving before 4ish, I can pick them up from the station and take them to the hotel. I would like to have the car parked back at home by 4pm, so that I can get a cab to join you all at the hotel for early drinks on the Friday, just let me know if you want a lift.

Great news about Vicki and her results, BTW! Samuel has taken two early GCSEs (Maths & French) this year so we're waiting for those results later in August - I think we're on hols then but fingers crossed... Good luck to Vicki for her driving test too - sadly, we don't do so well in that department!

The station you need to get off hon is Cardiff Central, then you make your way to the back of the station, not the front, its much easier for me to park at the back and we are then on the right road for the hotel as well. Just ask any of the porters to direct you to the rear exit- wher the car park is.
