Nothing's ever simple Mandy - when I tried to actually book the tickets, it won't let me. I suspect there are probably no trains running to Chippenham from Swindon on the Sunday. I might need to rethink this

Hey Nat, our train tickets arrived today - woohoo !!!

OK, just checked out train times. I can get a train from Chippenham, changing at Swindon, which will arrive at Cardiff Central at 1:23 pm on the Friday and leaving Cardiff at 11:55 on the Sunday - that should tie in nicely with Mandy, Nat and Deb.

You could hook up with Tam. She has to pass through Swindon. I know she's booked the 11:55 back on the Sunday, although she's not arriving until nearly 3pm on the Friday.

Have managed to book my tickets this morning. Ironically, the singles I had to buy from Chippenham to Swindon (som 15 miles) were more expensive than the tickets from Swindon to Cardiff.

Still, it's done now - am arriving in Cardiff at 13:23 on the Friday and leaving on the 11:55 back to Swindon on the Sunday (so will be on the same train as Tammy going back).

Well I think Ive gone a bit of a lightweight with regards to drinking, went out last night, with strict instructions off Vic, not to get too drunk as she wouldnt be home to put me to bed like she had to a few weeks ago(oh the shame) I didnt think I had that much last night, however woke up this morning, still fully dressed and with a mouth like a budgie cage, just coming round now

I think the weather's to blame, Sue - I just had a couple of glasses of red (in conjunction with plenty of water) last night and woke up feeling the worse for wear this morning...

I think it will probably take 2 - 2.5 hours. If you can get to Fleet, where I live or Reading where Claire lives, you could come the rest of the way with us. Trains to Fleet go from Waterloo. I don't know about Reading.
