Two Vero Questions

Can any recent Vero guests comment on the state of the beach? How wide? Also, any recollection on whether no'seeums are around in September? Thanks

We were just there at the end of June. The beach is wider than it was and wide enough for us! I'll include a link at the bottom of pics someone posted before.

As for the noseeums, not sure about Sept. I would be prepared for them anyway just in case. When we went it was so bad even with "Off" on. DH got bit up so bad, not me too much. He had red dots all over his legs.

Can't tell you anything about the beach - haven't been there in a while; however, we've been in October - and the no-seeums were around early in the morning and late at night.

Went in March, the beach was great. I heard the boardwalk in the middle of the resort to the beach is re-opened. We had to walk to the south end of the resort to access the beach. Didn't see the no-see-ums.

We were there on the 2nd and 3rd of July. Cannot compare to what it was like before, it was our first trip, but we thought the beach was beautiful! The boardwalk in the center of the beach was open.

There were no-see-ums in the morning (we did not go on the beach in the evening because apparently the sea turtles are busy that time of year). We went out in the morning with the sea turtle CM that was digging up and marking nests. We really got bit up, but our DS 12 is a huge turtle lover, so it was really worth it!
