On the other end of the trip 1 person can normally meet the plane at the gate...again, stop at the ticket counter and request a pass. Note, the reservation should indicate it is a person age 16 traveling. Call SW to have them enter it. I've seen folks taking all sorts of musical instruments on the plane.
