I'm going to WDW in early Dec. I may be by myself for the whole week or DD, DSiL and DGS may join me on day 3. I'm booked at POP on a PIN discount. They are also booked at POP on the room only discount. (I don't want to share my room with them and I will pay for their room in order to avoid that.) Now, DSiL's boss tells him that it is highly unlikely that he will be able to take vacation at that time - he's in retail and it will be Christmas time. He won't know for sure til a week or 2 before the trip.
Now that there is a room only discount available, I am considering booking a room at POR. But I would only stay there if DD and family will not be joining me. I am looking at POR because the boat to DTD is a great perk. Two rooms at POR is way out of my budget.
Finally, to my question. Is is possible to have 2 different resort reservations for the same person, for the same time period? I know some people will tell me that I may be preventing another family from booking a room but that is not my concern. It is not a busy time - hence the discount. I wonder if Disney has a policy in place to prevent double booking.
