Hello All

Happy Tuesday How are we all doing?

We got Mickey Mail yesterday which was very exciting.

It is a cute little booklet and has our whole itinerary printed inside which is very cool. Now all we're waiting for are our land docs and we are good to go

I looked at my ticker app this morning and it says 30 days until the wedding!!! We are literally days away now

I have my hen this weekend which is going to be lots of fun. Am starting the day with Afternoon Tea and a Massage with my mum, then heading out to a Polynesian style bar as a meet up point, then on to dinner and dancing for the rest of the evening. Should be a great night out and I know that my MoH is plotting away with some of the girls as she has that evil glint in her eye, but its all good fun and they know how far to go with me so...

In other news, not sure how many of you are following World News (apart from my fellow Brits here), but its pandaemonium in London right now with all these rioters and looters. Its really scary as the areas they report on are very close to where we live and work, but thankfully (touch wood, fingers and toes crossed) it hasn't hit here yet. But I feel like its only a matter of time.

Hopefully all my fellow Brits on here are safe and well

There is a small shopping centre and a strip of shops about 15-20 minutes from home / 10 minutes from my office that has had windows smashed, I expect this area to be hit again tonight but worse. We have a woman who rents the flat upstairs from our office, she said there were 20 of these kids hanging around with machetes and knives, they smashed a bus to pieces once it stopped at the stop to let people on/off, they also smashed a police car and flipped it over when they responded to the 999 calls.

Early reports of gangs of youths heading towards Hatton Garden (Jewellery and diamond dealers, very very expensive stuff) and also London's west end shopping district.

It's going to be another long night. Hoping none of these spill towards where we live, lucky there's not many shops near us worth trashing.

Thanks, was wondering what the cruise docs would look like. Way better than what we get for the land portion. Spoke to Disney UK and they said our docs should be sent out two weeks before we go, so should be getting those very soon too

I think these riots are dying out in London, what with the extra police presence and the communities coming together. There was one community who said that they were patrolling the streets to help the police and that if they saw any looting they would apprehend the person and make a citizens arrest until the police got there. Its statements like that that make you proud and feel like maybe there is hope after all

Hey everyone

How are you all doing? Hope your weekends have been good.

Can you believe that we are 25 days away from the big day (sorry to keep boring you with the countdown) and now 1 month away until we fly to Florida

My Hen night was last night and it was such a blast. We started out with a massage and Chocolate Afternoon Tea with just me and mum. I think out of all the Afternoon Tea's we have had this was the best one. The cakes were soooooo good and the sandwiches were delish.

We started out with some Strawberry Bellini's which were really yummy.

Then came the sandwiches. We actually got to make choices/changes if we wanted, so I asked for an extra ham sandwich instead of the salmon.

Cake time!!!

We had chocolate chip scones which were fresh out the oven, with a choice of strawberry jam, clotted cream and praline chocolate spread. Oh my god, these were heaven The cupcakes were mint choc chip, raspberry, double chocolate and I think the yellow was vanilla.

The top tier was all sorts of chocolate treats and the actual stand/tray they were on was also made out of chocolate too So going back again, maybe for a treat with mum when we get back from Florida

After tea we whisked back home to get change for the evening celebrations. My Maid of Honour was already waiting for us when we got home. Her name is Paula and she is lovely and crazy! She has been helping me out with all sorts to with the wedding and life and she was never officially made MoH, but that changed yesterday when I gave her her gift (I know you give at the wedding, but I wanted her to have it now). I had a Pandora charm made for her with a heart dangly which was engraved with Maid of Honour on the front with a little heart etched and on the back it said Love Stefy. She was so chuffed and surprised, so glad she liked it

So, we were ready to go, had to get a pic of all three of us.

Then we were off. First stop was our meeting point which was a bar/club called Mahiki's which is Polynesian Themed and a haunt for celebrities too. We missed Katherine Jenkins last night apparently.

The cocktails in here are so good, I wish we could have stayed longer. But am planning another girls night out when we get back, so we will defo stay longer in this place next time.

We sat at the bar to watch our cocktails being made.

i don't have an after picture as they lowered the lights after that and I didn't want/think to take more.

This is the Wheel of Fortune, if you can't decide what you want you spin this and let fate decide

Once everyone turned up, we headed off to dinner at Benihana's. Love eating here as its so much fun and the food is so good. I do have more pictures, but not sure if I should share as some are a bit risque, as what happens when on a hen night. This was when the paraphernalia came out, here I am in all my hen glory

We were so stuffed after dinner, we were thankful we had a little bit of a walk to the next club. Was so much fun walking through Piccadilly Circus with all our gear on. We got lots of attention, even from some policeman patrolling who were really funny and had a laugh with us.

Our next stop was Jewel Bar, which is officially my favourite bar/club. We had an area reserved and Paula had ordered a package which came with these.

Mini strawberry champagne cocktails, which were so delicious! I had four of them There was also a cake from my favourite patisserie included as well, which was nearly all forgotten about, but luckily one of the girls remembered. I have it in the fridge ready to bring in tomorrow to eat. Strawberry Gateau, which is my favoritest cake from Patisserie Valerie

That's it for the pictures from last night, Paula has more on her camera. Not sure how many are suitable for the Dis though.

So can't wait for September, is it time yet?

I was so sorry to hear about all the things going on over there! We had bad storms yesterday so I was indoors alot so I watched the news alot throughout the day. When I saw it, I immediately thought of you. I'm so glad that you are ok & there is more of a police presence there now.

I LOVE the notebook -- I agree with another poster, you really can't tell that it was plain before! It looks beautiful -- I love the stickers you choose! It definitely looks like a wedding book!
