Twice the Excitment, Twice the Fun!

After last week, it is time to turn to happy thoughts...our trip is in 26 days! Yay! I have 2 big things to plan for first...the first is a Princess Birthday Party. Hannah turns 4 on Memorial day. The second is the end of school! Just 12 days to go!

I started getting out the different things I have collected for our trip and putting them together. I still need to pick up a few things, like snack for the kids. I am trying to decide what to take for Owen. At 10 months, he is about rejecting all baby food in favor of "big people" food. However, I don't think that he gets enough....although at times it seems like he eats more than Hannah.

I will try to get better about putting our plans up!

Sunday, June 14- DHS

We will arrive at DHSfor rope drop. It is a Star Wars Weekend, which DH is excited about. We will either have breakfast at Pop or at DHS depending on time and how hungry we are.

This is what we hope to see:

Toy Story Mania (Must See)
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Playhouse Disney Live (Must See)
Star Tours (Must See)
Muppet Vision 3D
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set
Beauty and the Beast show
Great Movie Ride?
Back Lot Tour?

We plan to spend most of the day at DHS. Have lunch at Pizza Planet and take a late mid-day break. DH may stay if he hasn't seen all the Star Wars stuff he wants to see.

We have dinner ADR's at Chef Mickey's. MK has EMH that night until 1:00am, which we might take advantage of. It will depend on how tired we are and/or how the kids are doing.

They make a big production of the stormtroopers coming out and opening the park usually about 15 - 30 minutes before actual opening and then you get in the park and wait for official rope drop. Since your hubby likes Star Wars he will definitely appreciate all that. I think we were there about an hour before opening and they started the little show after about 15 minutes of us waiting.

I got Mickey Mail yesterday! We got our Disney documents in the mail! That was something fun to kick off our 3 day weekend!

Hannah and Owen are with Nana and Papa for the weekend visiting Papa's family in Kentucky. Ben and I took advantage of being alone by having a date night last night. We went to see the movie Angels & Demons. It was good, but the strayed from the book.

Today we went to look at dishwashers because ours broke about 6 weeks ago and I'm tired of hand washing dishes! Yes, I'm spoiled by the dishwasher. Plus this morning I made a Facebook account....that could be bad! I may spend as much time there as I do on the Dis. My house might not get cleaned as much!

Tomorrow we are going to the Indianapolis 500! Ben was given tickets to the race, so we couldn't pass that up!

We go to Disney this month! Yay! Just 11 days to go! Hannah has been putting a sticker up on the count-down calendar each day and is getting quite excited! We had her 4th birthday party this past weekend. She had a Princess party of course! I still need to get the pictures off the camera, but I'll try to post a few when I do.

I had an exciting evening...we bought a new dishwasher! Our old one broke about 6-8 weeks ago and I am so tired of washing dishes by hand. I've been spoiled by having a dishwasher!

I have been working on my list of stuff to pack! I'm so afraid I'm going to forget something! We brought the big suitcases in tonight and I washed the new shirts from the Disney store. I was impressed (scared?) with Hannah the day the box came from Disney.com, she took one look at the box and said, "that says Disney on it." She was right!

Tomorrow is my last day of school! Yay!

8 days to go!!!


Enjoyed my first day of summer! We headed to the Disney Store looking for something for Owen to wear on the trip. The onsies I got him several months ago are still too big. But I didn't find anything. Hannah on the hand made out well. She got a new pair of sunglasses, a magic towel, and a stuff Phineas! She was so excited to find Phineas! She did ask, "where is Ferb?" She loves Phineas and Ferb. Ben and I do too! It's so funny to hear her sing the theme song!

Monday, June 15 - MK/AK

We start this day with breakfast at O'hana with Lilo and Stitch and friends. This was the one place Ben wanted to eat, because he is a big Lilo and Stitch fan.

After breakfast we head to MK straight to Toontown to meet the Fairies.
Then we will visit:
Mickey's House
Minnie's House
Donald's Boat
Goofy's Barnstormer

Then on to Tomorrowland to see:
Buzz
Monster's Laugh Floor
Carousel of Progress

Then probably have lunch or a snack. Then take a nap break back at Pop.

After our naps we will head to AK. They have EMH from 7-10.
We are hoping to see:

Festival of the Lion King
Kali River Rapids
Pangani Forest Exploration Trail
Kilimanjaro Safari
Tricera Top Spin
Possibly EE for Ben and I. We will use the single rider lines.

Dinner at one of the following places: Flame Tree BBQ, Yak & Yeti Counter Service, or Restaurantosaurus. It will depend on where we are in the park when we are hungry!

Depending on the time we may have a night swim!

We are just back from Hannah's 4 year old check-up. She was 41 inches tall! Yay! So she is set for some of the rides she wants to go on! Daddy will be so excited because she is tall enough to ride Star Tours!

Tuesday, June 16 - AK

We start our day with breakfast at the Tusker House. Yum!

Then were off on a Safari adventure.
Then we would like to see:

Rafiki's Planet Watch
Flights of Wonder
Nemo Musical
and anything we didn't see the night before or anything we want to do again!

Lunch either at AK or Pop?
Nap/Break

Then to DTD for BBB and shopping!!!!
I'm hoping to get a 2009 magnet. We have gotten a magnet with the year on it every time we have gone to WDW.
A tee-shirt for everyone, post cards, a license plate for my truck, and I'm sure we will get a stuffed animal or 2. I saw a "baby" Woody on a TR and I would really like to get that for Owen, but we will see if I can find it. We may also get My Little Pony part and maybe Mr. Potato Head parts. Hannah got $ for her birthday, so it should be interesting to see what she picks out!

And a night swim sounds lovely. Those kids (and you guys) will sleep so hard that night.

Awesome! Star Tours is fun. Will you baby swap on that, or will you just sit out with Owen? That was one of the easiest rides we've ever baby-swapped on, because the waiting party just stands right at the door with the baby and hands off as they get on and the first party gets off.

Tuesday, June 16 - AK

We start our day with breakfast at the Tusker House. Yum!

Then were off on a Safari adventure.


Then to DTD for BBB and shopping!!!!
Hannah got $ for her birthday, so it should be interesting to see what she picks out!

I hope you get a great safari!

The BBB girls are gonna love Hannah's hair. She'll look so cute!

I'm sure she will think she is quite grown making her shopping choices and spending her own money.

Breakfast at CRT. Hannah will be so excited. We haven't told her about this yet!

Mad Tea Party---Hannah can't wait!

Tom Sawyer Island

Dinner at CP.

After dinner we will see how we are doing and make the choice to either:
Stay at MK, go to Epcot, or head back to Pop for the evening.
