Twice the Excitment, Twice the Fun!

Looks like a lot of fun on Hannah's first trip!

Your plans sound great!
I would love to go to SWW. We were thinking of it for 2010, but since they changed the dates this year, I think we will still be in school here. :sad1:

I love Crystal Palace, its one of my favorites!

I showed my Hannah photos of T-Rex and she said she did not want to eat there. Then I showed her the build a Dino display in the store, and she said she would try it, as long as she isn't right beside a t-rex.

We lucked into SWW this year. We are there for the last day.

Mine too! :cloud9:

:rotfl: This is so funny! I figure Hannah will say she will eat there if she can build a dino!

What a cute family you have! I see some overlap in our days at WDW. We will be looking for you!!

adorable pics from your 06 trip...
I just love the pictures of your son eating. I miss when mine were infants. There is nothing funner than feeding infants.
Your Adrs and plans for the week look great.:thumbsup2

Getting really close to double digits! Hannah keeps asking me when we go, and I tell her after her birthday. I need to make a countdown calendar for her. She is getting excited! We watch the Disneyland Sing-a-long DVD almost everday. It's so cute to hear her sing "It's a small world after all."

Here are a few more pictures from our 2006 trip:

Just wanted to throw this in for tonight:

Double digit dancing!!! :dance3: :jumping1:

99 days to go!

Awesome! I'll have my banana guys dance for me, since you would not want to see any dance that I might come up with.

I'd probably crack my back or something. :)

Yay! We got the ADR's we wanted in mostly the times we wanted! :cool1:

To review:
6/14 Sunday-Breakfast and Lunch will be CS. Dinner at Chef Mickey's.

6/15 Monday-Breakfast at 'Ohana. Lunch and Dinner-CS.

6/16 Tuesday-Early Breakfast at Tusker House. Then BBB at DTD for DD. Then probably dinner at T-Rex, Earl of Sandwhich, or DD's fave..McDonald's. Really wish we could go to Fulton's but alas, it's not in the budget this trip.

6/17 Wednesday-Early Breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table. CS Lunch/Snack. Dinner at Crystal Palace.

6/18 Thursday-CS all day. Planning to be in Epcot probably eating around the world!

I picked up a few things for the trip this weekend. I have a "Disney" box that I am throwing things into as we go. So far I have gotten ponchos, sun screen, and 2 small Color Wonder books (I'm thinking something to entertain Hannah on the plane ride.) that I found after Christmas on clearance. We have also collected some Disney tee-shirts. I got several off Disney shopping for really cheap. I was at the Disney Store on Friday and had to talk myself out of a few things. I liked the Snow White tee-shirt for me and really wanted the Grumpy one for DH. I have a feeling a few mornings he might need that one! :rotfl:

I plan to update with out MK to do list sometime this week, but right now I have to go pick up a crying baby who doesn't want to go to sleep even though he is really sleepy!

Magic Kingdom Must See List

Fantasyland
1. First and foremost: Dumbo :dumbo: It was Hannah's first ride in 2006 and it will be one of the first for Owen.
2. Pooh ride and playground
3. Mad Tea Party. Hannah can't wait to ride the tea cups.
4. It's a Small World
5. Ariel's Grotto. A certain little red-head would like to meet her (again).
6. Golden Carrousel-I'd like to try to have Hannah ride Cinderella's horse, but I'm not going to try to hard. She will be happy on any horse.
7. Peter Pan's Flight
8. Mickey's PhilharMagic. I'm really, really looking forward to this. We haven't see it before.

Snow White is a maybe. We will have to see how Hannah feels about it. She gets scared easily, so I don't want to freak her out.

Adventureland
1. Magic Carpets
2. Pirates
3. Jungle Cruise

Enchanted Tiki Room is a maybe. I think Hannah would like it, but she is scared of storms and it thunders, right?

Frontierland
1. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Hannah really wants to ride this.
2. Splash Mountain. She is looking forward to this too.
3. Country Bear Jamboree. I think Owen will enjoy this.

I would like to visit Tom Sawyer Island, because we never have, but we will see how our time is. There are other rides I want to see first.

Haunted Mansion is a maybe. Hannah goes back and forth on whether she is going to be "brave" and go on it. I figure we will see what she thinks when we are there.

Tomorrowland
1. Buzz Lightyear. I figure Owen will love to look at everything.
2. Monster's Laugh Floor. I am looking forward to this because we haven't seen it before.
3. Carousel of Progress

Astro Orbiter is a maybe. We will see if Hannah wants to ride it.

Mickey's Toontown Fair
1. Goofy's Barnstormer
2. Meeting Tinkerbelle and the Fairies.
3. Mickey and Minnie's Houses

That is our list of must see and would like to see. I think MK has the longest list. We will have to see how Owen cooperates with our schedule. I'm hoping he will be a good traveler, but we haven't been on vacation with him yet, so time will tell.

I have been thinking about changing our flights because Northwest changed from a direct to one with a 3 hour layover and that would not get us to Orlando until 10:00 pm. I knew that would be pushing our luck with the kids and we probably wouldn't get to our room until after 11:00. Yuck! So I was checking on the web site and I was able to change flights that gets us to Orlando at 2:45 pm. :woohoo: Now we will have time to get our room, look around Pop, eat dinner, and I'm sure we will be checking out the pool! Hannah is really looking forward to that!

We each will have a new pair of Disney Crocs to take with us. Thanks to someone posting a thread about Crocs great sale. I got 2 new pairs (first pair in pink/pearl, second pair in black/red) because I live in Crocs during the summer months and mine we getting really worn out. Hannah is getting a new pair in cotton candy/lavendar. Ben is getting his first pair in Khaki/Chocolate...I hope he likes them. And Owen is also getting his first pair in red/black. We will have to wait and see if they fit him, they might still be too big?!?! I love my Crocs, because they are so comfy! Yes, I know they are a little ugly, but they make my feet feel good and that is all that matters!

I'm having fun shopping for the things we need. I've been trying to buy a few things each time we go to Target. I was able to get the Pack and Play sheet for the crib today. The next thing on my list is to get Hannah a new swim suit. There was a cute Minnie Mouse on Disney shopping that I am thinking about....but it's kinda pricey for a little girl. I still need to think about that one!

I changed our flights again! Northwest keeps messing with our flight times and our 2 hour lay-over turned into a 5 hour lay-over. I didn't think that sounded too good! What would we do to keep a 4 year old and a 11 month old busy in an airport for 5 hours?!?! So now we have around a 40 minute lay-over and get into Orlando even earlier! :yay:

That sounds like a MUCH better deal!

Dumbo first is perfect. It felt weird for me to go into MK and not go straight to Dumbo this time. I did go over and take a picture of it for Brooklynn, though.

You guys are going to have so much fun!

Hannah, are you ready to show your little brother all around Disney World? He's going to need you to help him know where everything is. I know you will be a very helpful big sister! :)

We are heading to Dumbo first also. That is all my dd7 talks about , is riding dumbo!!!! I think that's cute that it was your daughter's first ride and it's going to be the little guys first ride too.:goodvibes

Good job with the flights, I booked through Southwest and havn't had any problems, but another airline that my SIL is flying with has changed their times twice, so I know it's frustrating.

Hey! I just noticed your PTR in your siggie today and wanted to pop over and mark my place. Can't wait to hear all the plans!

:welcome:

Glad to have another reader, although I have been terribly slow about updating. Hopefully, I will get a few done this week as I am on spring break! :cool1:

Our Itinerary for June 13

Get up before dawn and head to the airport.
Check in at the airport and have a little breakfast.
Our current flight leaves at 7:00 am! :scared: (Of course, our flights have changed like 5 times since we booked them, so hopefully they are done changing.)
Arrive around in Orlando around 11:30.
Take Magical Express to Pop.
Check in and get lunch and explore Pop while we wait on our room to be ready.
Hopefully, then we can get into our room.
Take a swim.
Unpack.
Then have dinner at Pop or go to DTD to look around and have dinner there.
Go to bed early.

We plan to take it easy this day because the next day will be a long day!

It would be nice to be able to go to Downtown Disney that evening for a while. It would make you feel like you're doing something Disneyish without being in a park. You could go to World of Disney and Once Upon a Toy for the kids, and maybe check out Basin and TrenD and Goofy's Candy Company and the Make-Your-Own-Tee store and Days of Christmas and Pin Traders and....

You might not get to bed early, though. :)

Well, I'd at least go down there and do a couple of shops and eat at Earl of Sandwich, and then you could call it an early night and get to bed. It really will have been a long day. We leave Nashville on 6:30 flights, and it does make for a long day. A wonderful day, since we end up in Disney World, but a long day.

Well real life has really gotten in the way lately! It started in early April when I found the Twilight series. I read the 4 books in 10 days and I loved them!

I was quite excited last week when I got Mickey Mail!!!! We got our Magical Express stuff! Yay!!!!

But then things at school really picked up, I have 20 conferences in the next 2 days....oh the joys of being a Special Education teacher!

Hannah has her first dance recital on Wednesday evening! She looks so cute in her pink tutu!

But then the bad news came, Mom called me Saturday morning to tell me that my Grandma passed away. It is really a blessing, she was 94 and not in good health the last few months, so we knew it was coming, but it is still hard! Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we say goodbye.

So that changed Mother's Day for me, it ended up not being the happy day we planned, but I did get to see my mom on Mother's Day, which was nice. Her plane got yesterday afternoon.

On a happy note, 32 days till Disney!!!

Definitely take a picture of Hannah at her reital. I'm sure she is adorable in her tutu.

So sorry for your loss. I will keep your family in my thoughts.
