TVs How Many Do You Have...........

5

Family room
Master bedroom
DS room (not connected to any 'regular' TV,it has a DVD/VCR and PSone so the kids can watch movies or play games when we have company.)
Office (is wired to show what ever is playing on the family room TV)
Garage (just has a VCR connected - we never use it, I'm tempted to move DHs Xbox out there too)

With our recent addition and house re-model we got new TV's and just in time to watch the STEELERS!

One in the LR (large screen Plasma Hi-Def)
One in the gameroom (32")
One in our Bedroom (32" LCD)
One in my guest bedroom (20")

We only have one, and it is in our finished basement. It is a nice TV though, large and hd, hooked up to a home theater sound system. We use it mostly for watching movies and the Red Sox and Patriots games. The only TV "shows" we watch regularly are Sopranos, Desperate Housewives, and AI. That's more a reflection of our schedules than anything else.

Yes, I have a 13 inch TV mounted above the vanity in my bathroom directly across from the tub because I love to have a nice long soak in the tub and watch all my favorite programs. Last night, it was CSI Miami! I love Friday's when I can soak in the tub and watch MOST HAUNTED. :scared1:

We also have a TV in the family room and one which is hardly used in the bedroom!

A tv in the vanity mirror? Why didn't I think of that! That would solve the one problem that has been vexing me for quite some time: we have a tv in each and every room, with the one exception of the bathroom (and hallway). We simply haven't been able to figure out where it could fit, and your post has solved the problem for us!

(I could also add that all of our tvs also come equipped with a DVD / video player. We're hooked on having some background noise in every room ...)

Well I am glad I could be of some help with your bathroom dilemma. :thumbsup2 When they estamated the cost of the bathroom mirror tv well lets just say I :rotfl2: Now I do love a good bath so I am not opposed to having a tv in the bathroom but I don't think I would use the tv in the mirror.

Then this tv in the mirror would be perfect for you!

2.
One was a 13" in the bedroom which died was was recently replaced with a 20".

The other TV is a 36" which is upstairs and is never used. We don't watch off-air television and only use it for movies (DVD).

4, soon to be 5.
One in the family den, one in my den, one in my bedroom, and one in the upstairs playroom. DD12 has a small DVD player in her room, but it's not a TV, only a DVD player. I'm going to put a small flat screen TV on a wall in my new sunroom, too.

Speaking of bathrooms, DD12 and I toured the Home of the Future in Innoventions last week, and I saw that fabulous bathtub with the TV built in. Wow, that is so awesome!!! I'd NEVER get out of the tub....

We have three. One in the Living room, one in the family rooma, and one in my DDs room.We had lightning hit the house last week and it ruined the tv in my DSs room.

You wouldn't have a picture of the tub with the tv built in would you? If so please post because I'd love to see it. TIA.

I guess I'm in the minority here. We have one t.v., a 10 year-old 27 inch, in the livingroom. We only have basic-basic cable (around 12 channels) so there isn't much arguing over what we watch.

We did recently get Tivo and it has changed our t.v. viewing. We're getting more sleep, watching less "filler" shows, and enjoying our favorite shows that are often on late at night. :thumbsup2

DH would like to get a large screen plasma or LCD this fall. Then our 27 inch would go downstairs to the gym.

I don't care to have a t.v. in our bedroom since I'm a light sleeper. And I don't see any reason to have the kids (preschool age) watching t.v. without supervision so there won't be t.v.s in the the kids' rooms any time soon. When the kids are pre-teens/teens, we'll likely have a rec room set up for them in the basement, with a t.v. for their use.

8

1 in the family room
1 in the Master
1 in dd room
1 in ds room
1 in ds room
1 in the den
2 in the bonus/game room so there will no fighting on which football
games to watch :cool1:

I LOVE my DIRECT TV!!!

We have four, all with cable. The big one is in the livingroom and there is one in each bedroom.

My boys didn't have their own TV's until they were teenagers and begged for them for when they had friends over. Oddly enough, everyone seems to watch in the livingroom anyway, go figure.

We have 8 TV's

One in each Bedroom=(3)only the mstr has satellite
1- game room
1- living room
2- RV
1- DH's semi

We have 3:
Family room (35")
Master bedroom (21")
Kids' Playroom (25")

Slightly OT...Our kids are required to ask permission before they watch TV. (It's mainly DH's rule, but I don't object to it.) DBIL calls DH (his bro) the TV Nazi because of this. :lmao:

Does anyone else have this rule?

Two. I couldn't imagine that many TVs. I won't even allow one in our bedroom.

We have the same rule. :) Granted, only one DS is old enough to ask permission right now, but there's many days when he hasn't earned TV privledges. :)
