This may be a stupid question, but is the Tomorrowland Transit Authority a one way or round trip ride?

It's a round-trip to and from Rocketower Plaza (and a great way to waste time before a Space Mountain Fastpass!).

I love this ride! It's been my fav since my first trip when I was about 11 years old. My dad wasn't the most patient person in the world and he hated lines, so we really didn't do too many rides at WDW in 1977. (I've made up for that as an adult!) It was so bad that I considered the monorail a ride! LOL! We didn't do Dumbo, no Space Mountain, no carrousel (really, why go, LOL). BUT WE DID DO TTA! I was so impressed to get a peek at Space Mountain because I knew we weren't going to ride it. I think we did it twice! I will always do TTA! S

Great ride! It is so relaxing. A ride or 2 really rejuvenates us:D

One of my all time favorites. This is great to ride if you are waiting for your Buzz or Space Mountain fast pass time. :)

Let me just add this little tip about the TTA:

Even though you might be tempted to make-out in the dark sections, the CM's can see you with special cameras. So unless you want to give them a free show, keep your hands to yourselves! :smooth:

I did not know about the Cast Members being able to see in the dark sections of the ride. The next time I ride, I will have to try and raise their eyebrows...
ADP;)

We love this ride, too. It will always be the Peoplemover to us.:D

Thanks. I appreciate the answers and comments. I think our entire family will really enjoy this ride. (okay I am a little nervous because I am not fond of heights  but I will be okay!).

I asked the question because I thought that I had read somewhere that it was only one way which would be a problem since we are bringing our stroller and I didn't want to skip it if we didn't need to.

Thanks for your help.

I hate heights and I have no problem with it. The ride moves along a fairly wide platform and I feel very secure.

Do you think you might have it confused with the Skyway which is now long gone? My family talked me onto that once...only!! It was one way.

Oooohhh, that could be. That sounds familiar. I have only been to WDW once and it was over 25 years ago and I was young, been to DL several times as a child. Maybe that is the ride that I am imagining. I remember looking up at enclosed cars that went pretty far above and across the park. Maybe I need to find a good picture of the TTA--anyone know any good links?

I ALWAYS ride it right after I enter the MK to plan out my visit during the ride.

Its sort of a loop, so it maybe that somebody called it "one-way" because you don't return on the same route like you do on a round-trip airplane flight.
