TSA Applesauce

Does anyone know if the "Go-Go squeeze"pouches of applesauce are allowed through security?

Applesauce falls under the TSA's "liquid or gel" restrictions.

GoGo Squeez Applesauce on the Go comes in 3.2-ounce pouches, so they're smaller than the 3.4 ounce (100ml) maximum container size. They would have to go into a "3-1-1" bag. Each passenger in entitled to one "3-1-1" bag.

Anything that doesn't hold its own shape is a "liquid." So, it would go through only if it was 100ml or less, and fit in a 3-1-1 bag. (There is an exception for baby food, but this probably won't qualify.)

Except for those shapeless things deemed solids, such as talc and powdered make up.
