We had a wonderful Christmas trip to WDW with our two adult offspring returning home on Christmas Day. Since we have the PAPs to use until 12/15 of this year, we just booked 8 nights from Nov. 30-Dec. 8. Our next trip is March 2, and I have been trying for a week to make FP+ plans for that one when they said I could, but the web site is allways "too busy". Frustrating, and I HATE making those plans that far ahead anyway.

In my experience after using FP+ in Oct and Dec we did not need reserve in advance. For our Dec trip I purposely did not to test and I had no problems at all making FP reservations the day prior to us wanting to go into a park.

Will that change as it rolls out? I don't know but until it does I'm not going to start stressing over all the planning they are trying to get us to do (and claim we all want to do!).

I was in WDW from 12/7-12/12 this year and I did not do the fast pass plus until I was at the resort. I had no problems getting fast passes. I would not stress over it. Give it a few days and try again. I would think that the beginning of March is a slower time of year, the availability of passes should be good.

I am another person who tweaked FP + the same day or the night before during our December trip (13-20). We got to do everything we wanted to do with FP +.

I waited until the day I activated the pass to make FP+ reservations for my Dec 2-5 visit. I didn't have any trouble getting FP+ selections. I was also able to make same day adjustments.

Dec 29-Jan 2 I had to revamp some previously made FP+ selections. I didn't have any trouble 1 day prior. There were a few days where I tried to make time adjustments on the same day and wasn't able to do it (I received a message that no other times were available). This was on 29, 30 and 31 Dec.

We tried to change an attraction at EPCOT on 1 Jan from Mission Space to something else (on the same day). We actually had the option to change to several other choices.
