Back to School today

Is Jack waiting for the bus with them??
Indie always waited for the bus with DS11 but not anymore bc now he has to get the bus at the end of the street.
Do they both go at the same time??
DS11 leaves a half hour earlier now for M.S.

Oh yes, but he had to go inside once the bus came, he tends to freak out a bit when someone or something is taking his 'brothers' away.

That stinks that your bus stop is down the street. We had one like that at our old house and it was no fun! Luckily we live at the end of the street here, so the bus stop is right at our driveway!

They go at the same time. But they ride different buses home. If they take the buses home DS10 gets here about 40 minutes before DS13. I usually just pick them up, it gets DS13 home so much faster than the bus!

They actually look happy to be going to school! Cute pics! Time for you and Jack to have some one-on-one time.

They do look quite happy in the pics, don't they?!! Actually DS13 was looking forward to seeing all his friends everyday again. DS10 on the other hand - not really looking forward to school.

Yes - Jack and I are enjoying some quiet time!! Well, that is after he gave the bus driver a piece of his mind for about 15 minutes straight.

AWWWW----- First day of school!! They looked all happy and excited and so cute! Give it a week.... they'll be begging to stay home. I woke Belle this morning and she groaned and started whining.

I got up this morning and as my espresso was brewing I thought about you putting them on the bus and Jack barking his head off. I wondered how it was going. Nice to see that some things never change.

Oh yeah--- I meant to get on here this weekend to see what you had to say about our Double D's..... I laughed so hard when I wrote it and said the SAME thing---- only way Shelly and I will ever get into Double D's is on a countdown to Disney!!

After dinner at the ESPN Club we headed outside to the BW.

We walked around a bit and then ended up in the game room and then at the pool again.

And look at that.

The kids decided to go roast a few marshmallows again!

DH and I enjoyed some relaxing and quietness.

With this as our view.

We hung out there for quite awhile and then headed back out to the BW one last time.

And then back to the BC. The kids wanted to go swimming one last time, so we took them down to the quiet pool.

Then we went back up to the room and got things packed up and went to bed. ME pick up was at 7am the next morning.

Looks like a fun night hanging out at the BW! The pool was pretty empty when I saw it on my trip too. Very surprising!

Madison started school today too. She was very excited to go back; she loves school. She got a little nervous while eating breakfast which was strange. She already knows almost everyone who is in her class this year, she already loves her teacher (he helps with the musical every year) and she knows the school like the back of her hand. It's her last year in elementary school which makes me so sad.

All of my girls (and I) started school today too. My two older DD's went back to college (right down the street from us), and my DD11 started 6th grade! It's crazy to me! 5:30 AM was rough this morning! It was a busy day for me as a secretary, but it was great seeing all of the kids!! Love the pictures of your DS' going back to school! They look adorable! And I can't believe how big Jack has gotten!

Why isn't there anyone swimming at the BW pool?? How odd.

Today was our first day too. Sarah's first day of middle school. She should be getting home in the next 10 minutes. Can't wait to hear how that went.

Well the boys survived the first day of school! Got home just over an hour ago. I made them some yummy snacks!!

It took me a while, but I have finally started to read your TR. Last night I got through the first 4 days. I was kinda grumpy when I was reading, so it was only fitting that that was your mood for the first few days.

You guys really seem at home at the BW! I'm glad you got to enjoy some time there.

Glad the boys had a nice first day of school. Mine started back last Monday. We have to leave the house at 7:00 to drive Alex to middle school! It's been rough getting used to the new schedule! It's nice in the afternoon because I pick him up & Zach takes the bus home. Alex gets home about an hour before Zach, giving him a good chunk of time to work on his homework with a quiet house & my undivided attention.

Sad your TR is coming to an end but I know there will be a new one right around the corner!!
