Just back from seeing it at the Drive In! That part was fantastic. The drive in is so fun. Kids loved it! I loved it.
Unfortunately, didn't love the movie. It was lots of blowing up things. A couple laughs but really the weakest of all the movies imho- and that's not saying much.
But my PSA for the night
Pack up the car- bring a flashlight and hit the drive in!

We love going to the drive-in. It's so perfect with kids. Such a shame that there aren't many of them left these days. Our only problem with it is that it's so late by the time it finally gets dark in the summer...almost 10 by the time they can start the first movie. I seldom make it through the second one, and forget about the kids! Still worth it though, for the experience.

Sorry the movie wasn't great. That's a shame. I like special effects so I probably would have gone to see it, but maybe not when I'm hearing things like this.

I liked the first 2 Transformers movies better.

I missed Mikaela.
:(

Shia and Megan had better chemistry on the screen.

I'm sad to hear the movie was a flop, Rotten Tomatoes reported the same and I was looking forward to seeing both this one and Green Lantern, even Cars 2 did poorly with reviews... rats. Looks like Kung Fu Panda is going to win my $.

BTW, I have been wanting to get to a drive in for ages and love the idea, I think I'll try to convince the family:thumbsup2

My 18 year old son walked out and got a refund. He said it was terrible and that he couldn't sit through a bad movie just for the the 3-D effects!

Love the drive in but I usually end up sleeping through most of the movie. Never have been a night owl.

I personally felt this was the best of all of them, but it is close to the first one. The second one was pretty poor. I hate Megan Fox though, she's too trash for lack of a better word, so I was glad she was not in the movie.

I felt it had a good mix of comic relief and as a big fan of Transformers as a kid, I felt connected to the autobots, especially when they say goodbye (trying not to spoil it).

We saw it in 3D which I think adds some benefit of depth, similar to Avatar.

That sounds great to me, I like that stuff! :lmao:

Blowin' up things especially in 3D. :woohoo:

I think we have to see it regardless. My youngest brother was a PA while it was shooting here in Chicago. He just graduated from film school so he was in heaven. His name will be in the credits and he even has an IMDB page now! Of course it has one thing listed on it....for now! :rotfl:

Funny story, aside from almost getting hit by the jumpers on the aerial team...he was sent to drop something off at on of the producer trailers. He goes and knocks and knocks but no answer. From behind him he hears, "Can I help you?" He turns around and it is the hot chick, Rosie! He was knocking on her trailer by accident. OF course, being good siblings, we have razzed him for a year, disbelieving the "accident" part of the story!

This is the Blockbuster of the Summer!!!

I think this is the BEST movie of series. I also got a little emotional at a few parts. I also thought the CGI was the best that I have seen.

A few scenes I leaned over and asked my friend is that real or CGI THAT IS HOW GOOD IT WAS.

I also thought the new "IT" GIRL was actually quite good. I never liked Megan Fox.

The story actually was quite good and so was the acting and I LOVED the special guest stars!!!

I also have to say that the music was really really good too! I downloaded the soundtrack and I haven't heard a great soundtrack in a loong time.

I also agree with a PP that this was most definately the funniest movie too.

If you love good action go see the movie and its TOTALLY WORTH it in 3D. Finally a movie that has good 3D.

I thought it was really good. Great special effects (I saw it in 3D), funny in parts, and a satisfying ending to the triology:thumbsup2

I agree!!!

I can't believe the number of kids under the age of 10 that was in the theatre. This one was violent, humans were being killed....

I also thought it was the best of the 3. To me it actually had more story and less blowing up and fighting. Plus it seemed to be more Josh Duhamel, which makes it worth the money.

Just so it today in 2D. Thought it was great! Loved that Leonard Nimoy was the voice of one of the characters and they managed to sneak in a Star Trek reference.

We saw it today. It was better than #2. I wish we had a drive in close to us, that would have been even better!

DH and I saw it yesterday and loved it. Great action, great one liners and loved John Malkovich!
